Hi lads
just an info, if anyone of u can answer me

How much is a ticket for an intercity, from dublin to cork?
(with return in the same day)

You can find the date I need, following this link, but I think that the cost is the same in every day of the year..

If you've got a student travel card (http://www.irishrail.ie/your_ticket/student_travelcard.asp), Anto, you can get cheaper trains.

54 euro's and your not even guranted seat and breakdowns are a big thing latley, so you might as well fly 30min journey for an extra 30 euro's and guranteed a seat and well if the plane breaks down well at least we will give you big send off

Or get an aircoach, €12 return! It takes 60 to 90 minutes longer but its just a good bus. There's one every 2 hours.

Bus Eireann have a special offer on now.
€7 each way and that takes ya to Dublin airport.
The pricing of the rail ticket is ridiculous.
Afaik its €55 for return but if you only want one-way its still something like €52

You are better off flying. Aer Arann, dublin-cork, works out cheaper than the train plus it only takes 40 mins instead of 5 hours :)
