Am I right in thinking that the match programme regularly plugs citynet as a semi-official site? I think it must be something about official city sites, cos the level of updating on citynet has gone rapidly downhill since it was awarded that "honour"! It really shows the ineptitude of the board that they can't even maintain one outlet for information for their fans.

This is what Dangerhere.com have to say:

City SkinFlints

Right, we expect you all know that corkcityfc.com is a porn site, though we've resisted the temptation to make that address a link just to see how many of you click it. Anyway what we didn't know was that Cork City apparently once owned the domain name but allegedly had to let it go back on the market as the club was short of funds. Clearly it subsequently fell into the wrong hands. Anyway, did anybody not tell the boys at Turners Cross that a domain name costs about fifteen euro a year these days, or is the financial state of the local game even graver than we thought?
