This is indeed true.
Reading FC have given permission for a local undertaker to produce burial caskets in the clubs colours.
The club will get a small fee for each coffin sold and donate that money to charity.
A bit tacky? Probably, but I've seen worse.

Just one step up from having a national flag or jersey placed on your coffin. Why anyone feels like they need to go one step up is horrible though!

I'm planning on writing my will soon and am going to get cremated. Some of the ash will be spread in The Curragh Grounds, some ash in St. Mel's and the ash representing my schlong will be deposited in Offaly - terrific and willing girls, there, bless 'em. ;)

Sounds like a plan hamish. As for me, it's too hard to say. I'd like to die in a cold place so my body will turn blue and that'll be Chelsea covered. Then I'd ask (in my will, obviously) to have my hair dyed green to cover Bray and Eire.

TBF, superfrank, you left yourself wide open to that slag, Schumi got there first.

I, of course, wouldn't DREAM of slagging off The Carlisle Cemetary oops, sorry, Grounds

Go on, go on, go on, Superfrank. Push yourself. After all, a good slag is a good slag, even at our expense. :D

It takes all kinds of people to make the world go round and those people eventually need burying.
