well .. maybe they can pull out this piece of statistic next time the league is searching for a lucrative sponsor.

In terms of infrastructures .. in comparison to stadiums in Switzerland and the US, it does seem hard to believe.

Its from a German company called the International Federation of Football History and Statistics who compiled these stats ..

"IFFHS is concerned about a chronological documentation of the international soccer on a scientific basis as well as about the authentical world records realized in the various aspects of soccer. Based on its universal qualification IFFHS also organizes global votings and determines world rankings every year."

At the end of the day, stats don't win games :o

The real story in there isn't that we're apparently stronger as a league than the likes of India and Switzerland (whooped-doo !). It's that we're apparently weaker than the likes of Ghana, Latvia, Lithuania, Costa Rica and Israel !

That list is ballax anyway. There's no system in place that enables direct comparisons across continents in terms of individual club strength.

It's a classic case of measuring something because you want to, not because you're able to....

The list is about as accurate as the FIFA and IRB international team lists. All this mathamatical lists are bull****, formulas just dont work for ranking sports teams when most have never even played each other let alone play regularly.
