i'd like to say fair play to all the city fans who traveled to terryalnd park tonight... about 400/450 in total and not a single piece of trouble! about 2000 in the ground in total, united's biggest attendance of the season. bring on the re-play!!!

Heineken don't do oppositon supporters, but if they did . . . . .

Looking forward to Monday night. I'm prediting 3-0 to City in front of our own fans. I hope a good crowd turns up for it. I'd say Galway hope that too. Do the away team still get 40% of the gate at Cup matches? I'm sure they do. Galway could do with that I bet.

how could there only be 800 in the ground??? we get close to 800 at our league games (well at least we did at the start of the season). the stand holds 1750 and was pratically full! lets all just wait for the official figure

but the stand wasn't nearly full. If you were in the stand it may have looked that way. but if you stood behind the goals there was lots of seats.

I'm just after getting home after getting lost in the smoke that was generated by city fans on friday night. ;) :D

Great atmosphere and what an evening for a game, the game could have swung either way but after a dire first half both teams had great chances to win it and a draw was probably fair.City should win 2-1 tonight. :)

Galway were robbed of a peno but thats not to say mick wouldnt of saved itHe wouldn't have saved it. Theres one thing you can be sure of and that is that Devine doesn't save penalties. Its usually a token fallover on the line as the ball flies past him. Excellent keeper just he can't save penalties.
P.S. What are the chances of this post coming back to bite me in the ass ?

It won't. Haven't seen anyone save a Billy Clery penalty yet! :)
