This is from the Shelbourne fc Website:

The transfer window opens on July 1st and Pat Fenlon has revealed he has spoken to defender David Worrell who has recently been made available by Plymouth Argyle. He said "I had a general chat with him before he went on holidays and i'll talk to him again when he's back. With Jamie(Harris) out for a few weeks and our European games coming up we may need some cover at the back.Another option may be to bring Kevin Doherty back from his loan to Waterford".Fenlon also hopes to put some of the younger members of his panel out on loan,to get them regular match practise.

Haven't seen him play, but he seems to be rated well enough.

I'm suprised Plymouth are letting him go, wasn't he a regular with them and still only around 25?

31 starts in the season just past.

27 I think.

In division one? That's not bad, I'm suprised they're letting him go so, isn't he a left back?

I think he can play both fullback positions (tbh, thats me just reading info from FMScout :o). Would be nice to have a(nother) capable left back :) (Ah thats harsh, Crawley ain't been bad this year tbh).

Maybe he has some strange injury problems, insane wage demands, or is just a cúnt? Or maybe he asked to be let go?

He can play anywhere across the back? Excellent signing if they get him. Former captain of U-21 side.

Id be surprised if they sign him. If they do then they will have to let other players go. I am reliably informed Ollie's biscuit tin is getting very low on funds & Shels will have to sell a few players go in the July transfer window.

sounds like a great signing if shels get him. we have a big enough squad as it is and nutsy can offload a few players

Glen Fitzpatrick would be a great signing for most clubs.

he plays mainly at right back and is highly respected by the plymouth fans but the feeling is he wasn't good enough in to play championship football

You're good mates with Ollie and he told you, did he?

Ah a Bohs fan, nobody knows nor talks more about Shels than this crowd, so I'll bow to your obviously superior knowledge as a gypsie.
