Where did these guys go?????

For a team that had failed to score in something like 6 straight home game what does Gunther do but bring Johnny C off the bench.

Johhny did a good joob this season but just has not looked up to it this year & i'm sure 10mins of 1st team football every 2 months doesn't help his cause.

Are things so bad between Murphy & Stephen O'Flynn he plays Johnny C instead?

because murphy is an arrogant idiot who holds grudges, he won't play o'flynn. Yet another damning indictment of his Management "skills"

Not taking Gunthers side here, but I saw O Flynn with his hand in a cast recerntly, so he mustnt be available.

Ok, that explains O'Flynn but is Welsh so bad he couldn't even be given a run out in the MSC games as opposed to Johnny C.

Someone....Anyone give me any reason why Welsh not seen 1 min of 1st team football this season? I've no idea what he like but who really cares if we win the MSC.....?

O'Flynn had his arm in a sling a few weeks back but has since returned to action and scored a goal at the weekend when the under21s beat Limerick 3-1, before Welch came on for him in the second half. Mulligan also played.

AFAIK Welch's only first team appearance came in the Celtic friendly last summer and IMHO is not up to eL Premier Division standard at the moment.

sorry, wrong again. morley didn't play in midfield that day and the team was; Devine (Mooney), Napier, Horgan, Daly, O'Rourke, Herrick (Bennett), Cahill (Carey), Flanagan (Freyne) O'Flynn (Mulligan), Morley (Caulfield), O'Brien (Tynan).

He probably did play in the friendly against Castleview, maybe that's what you're thinking of?

I think Welsh did play at some stage in pre-season but is he so bad with the u-21s that he not even good enough to take on the mighty Cobh Wanderers?
