Funny the way that none of the bitter Everton and Man U fans on this site are replying to this thread, they usually have plenty to say on Liverpool. Then again, they're probably humbled, we are EUROPEAN CHAMPIONS after all...... :D

I've said it on another thread. Congrats on the win, played in the style and manner of all your great European triumphs.

Come on the reds what an achievement and it wouldn't even bother me if they weren't in it next year.To win it was beyond eveyone in planet football's expectations.
We own the cup now and I think Stevie G and Jaime Carra have scraped off man u's name from the 99 slot and replaced it with Bayern. ;)

Would have thought Everton fans should be magnanimous about it all. When was the last time they could say they were better than the European Champions? ;)
No team in Europe is better than the European Champions, and seeing that we beat the top 3 favourites along the way, we are, in 2005, the best team in Europe. Everton? They're just the 4th best team in the premiership...... ;)

Congrats, and now... ehm, sorry, my sympathy goes out to the underdogs. In Istanbul it were Liverpool, but this time I must say: go go TNS !

Are you ever happy. If people replied you would accuse them of being bitter. If they dont reply you have a pop at them too. Congratulations on Liverpool winning the European Cup but you come across as having little brother syndrome. Even when you achieve something you still look around for recognition and approval from your peers etc. Just enjoy your success etc.

Kiss my ass, it's called banter. Your reply above is exactly the kind that gets up my nose, some posters on here take things way too seriously. Man U fans have been reminding everyone about 1999 for the last 6 years. Now it's Liverpool's turn, European Cups are celebrated for many years, so get used to it.
BTW, "little brother syndrome", sounds like you're speaking from experience.....

Don't reply then Daddy
Now, where were we.......did someone say Liverpool were European Champions? :D

Thanks for the reminder, and you know what you've also just reminded me of? That we're European Champions! Whoo hoo! :D
I'm actually going over to the TNS match at Anfield with a few mates. Whole trip is only costing €70, well worth it to see the super reds in their first game since Istanbul. Game is nearly sold out as well, which is quite amazing considering the opposition.

It's not a deal, just booked everything ourselves. Not a day trip either, it includes flights, city centre hotel & match ticket! Ryanair flights Shannon to Liverpool cost €31 return, Match Ticket is €17.50, Hotel in Liverpool is €20 (A rack room, €80 divided by 4 people - we won't be doing much sleeping :D)
Just looked again today and the Ryanair flights are now gone up to about €60, there are no rooms left in our hotel, while the match is completely sold out. Crazy, looks like the demand for tickets this season at Liverpool is going to break records....

Thats not what UEFA say!Its a new rule that was brought in,didnt you hear?Anyway if want to get technical about it,it is the "champions" league so shouldnt Chelsea be the only English team in it?How far back in the rule changes do you want to go,Liverpool have as much,if not more of a right to be in it than Arsenal,Man U or Everton.
