Enquiries have been made about organising a bus to the Monaghan game, so here it is.
If you would like to travel to Monaghan to support the lads, then please contact me ASAP. The sooner we know numbers the better. Monaghan isnt far and it gives people the perfect chance to see the team in an away game. We owe Monaghan a defeat since their win in the showgrounds. the only loss to date. We all know what games we attended in 94 along with all the stories of being on the road. Let's make 2005 a year to remember.
Monaghan have excellent facilities for supporters and i'm sure the team would be grateful to see the bit o'red faithful turning up in large numbers.
Enquiries to 086-1700687.

What about Limerick? Thats a much bigger and more important game. Any travel arrangements done for this one? We really need a good support for this game.

Unfortunately this game is on a Friday, so it would be hard to get enough people to go for it. The bus would need to leave early evening.
We've only had enough interest to bring one bus this year to a game which was in Athlone. Hopefully the demand will increase for all games cos it's great going to games with a bunch of fellow supporters.

Hi all
Would be great if people who know they are going can forward me their name and contact number for booking the bus. (13 so far)
The earlier this can be done the better becuase one we've enough to get a bus, i'm sure others will want to go when they hear of the bus definitely going. So put your name down. never too early. For those driving why not just leave the car at home and relax on the bus. This game gives us the best chance of our biggest away crowd of the season, so let's all go together and generate a good buzz in monaghan. If we can get buses going regularly the momentum will build and more people would be on for going.
cheers
** also keep an eye on the 28th of July - away game vs dublin city. On a thursday though.

What time is the bus leaving the Showgrounds Gary? And is it near full yet, how many people you got so far?

sorry missed this reply. Bus will probably leave about 11am or so. Which gives us loads of time to get up, have a look around and go to the game.
So far we've 18 going. but 8 of those are unconfirmed as am waiting to hear back from a lad and his friends. We're thinking about just brining a small bus and closing bookings when we've enough. alot better to bring a small one and keep it going than try to fill a big bus and for it to end up not going.
I'd say to anyone thinking about travelling, to book now as there's a possibilty that booking will close once there's enough to fill a small bus. there's no point trying to book at the last minutes becuase that's no good for us to try and plan a bus with adequate capacity.
We've got posters printed and will be putting around town tonight/tommorrow so hopefully that will spark more interest.

lads,
if ur going to monaghan i'll need names more or less now. We have to get the numbers in by tommorrow, to determine the size of bus going.
re: kilkenny - as always, if there's enough interest we'll organise a bus. so we should be brining 2 or 3 buses with demand to see Pat Scully huge :D
cheers

Are you sure it's on a Thursday Gary? I know the Rovers site says so but, correct me if I'm wrong, dont Dublin City play on Saturday nights in Richmond park now?
 , City fans let me know please
Also, did you get the bus full yet Gary? Is it a mini-bus or a big bus?

well i'm open to correction re: dub city game. they change it around so often, who can keep tabs on them. i'll go find out.
re: mons bus - there will be a bus definitely going as interest is good. just over the small bus limit so going to have to go for a big bus. so still plenty of capacity for it, if anyone else out there wants to go to the game.

Always glad to welcome fans from all over. Should be a good game, our away form has been impressive, our home form poor.
Its easy to tell the cows from the fans, you'll get a drink out of the cows if you pull hard enough. :D
I know our lads that went to Sligo had a great night, not just becuase of the result.
So welcome one and all. If ya wanted a pre game of 5 a side im sure it could be organised if you had a few willing volunteers. We have the astro park beside the main pitch and its only 5.50 a man. Good craic and it'll work off some of the beer and famous Mondogs.

The Astro park is provisionally booked lads if your interested. If not dont worry, its not normally open on a sunday so we wont be inconveniencing anyone cos the manager is a steward at CHP.
We have a team, 5 guys in late 30s and 40s. Fitness levels not exaclty wonderful. So were not lookin for any ringers here. If their fit they must be of **** quality if ya know what i mean.
If ya wanna game youd need to be here for 1 to allow time for after match shower and a pint before the real thing starts.
if you wanna go ahead email me at jheron@crocastps.com
Talk soon

As much as i'd would like to think that a band of the red army would be on for going that far, i dont think they'red be enough interest. car pooling is the way for this.
