Dublin City 2 Dundalk 3
Ouuaahh  ...where do I start!? A near status of invinsabilty was formin up round the Vikings sector after learnin they were the current undefeated team in both sections of Eircom League Football.
On a day that highlighted the past relieving scorelines like the Eire v Isreal game or even the Dublin v Meath game.. surely it would be an all-round grand scoreline finale for the Bank Holiday Weekend to cap it off with even a draw for Dublin City FC?!
Naa. Not today. Today was the day where the 'knucklin down' process would need to come into practise after a lost game to at least keep up concentrative play & sustain some desire, morale & determination in the season to follow.
Just a pity it was Dundalk's day today to throw a sword into our battle for glory that we will win in the end anyway... 'PROMOTION'.
