Hi alll read somewhere that there might be a GAA 2005 game. Any truth to the rumour?

In Smyth's out here they have a list of release dates for new games. A while ago I saw that GAA 2005 was there with Aug. 5th next to it. :cool:

Yeah heard about that alright. Its meant to be devloped by yhr devlopers of the biggest Aussie Rules game and is basically the same game except for a few changes,ie the pitch, the ball, players, teams etc.
Its not s complete neew game just the changes being made to the software etc the have in the Aussi rules game

Ps. Dont think such a game should be devloped with out Hurling included after all thats our real nationa sport

i have reservations about whether it will ever see the light of day !

i imagine hurling would be extremely difficult to simulate effectivly

These days I don't think so, considering the various types of games already available and the amount of development which has gone into the technology over the years ... should be managable enough I reckon.

When it was first announced I remember hearing that the developers reckoned a similar engine could be used for hurling.
