16 BROWN, Paul Limavady United 13 - - - - - - - 13
http://www.irishpremierleague.com/premscorers.shtml
he was scored 13 goals in 13 appearances. he must have been injured to only have played that many games. he put in a transfer request it says in the paper. they finished 5th in the Prem up there so should be a good standard. The Bit O'Red Supporters Trust are contributing towards the signing. So hopefully the manager can get his man.
He should feel at home in Sligo cos their ground is also called The Showgrounds :D

Hopefully we can get him. Sounds like a good asset and there's no doubt in anyone's mind a striker is what we really need at the moment. He wont be able to sign until July though is'nt it? :(

So we're going to have this new Limavady lad, Sean Flannery, Paul McTiernan, Carlos Alvarez and Brian Tosh, not to mention Ciaran Foley and Rafael Cretaro who have both played up front for Rovers this season.
Doesn't hold out much hope of John Bellew making the senior team. I have a feeling if we let him go it could come back and bite us in the ass.

He wears # 10 for Limavady United, so I am just assuming that this is him pictured here, .......big lad for 25.

Looking at the link Gary put up he has all his goals n the league which would put hin on the top 10 of goalscorers. Not bad.Shouldnt take much time for him to adapt from a league similar to ours, lets hope we get him before other clubs get wind of this up North

Looks like were targeting the right calibre of forward, not a second rated type. Any idea on what the transfer figure is??

It's very rare a 1st division club would pay a transfer fee for a player. The board obviously have a lot of confidence in Connor. Things are looking good!

Lads, sorry to be the damp squib once more, but this transfer talk is nothing but that .... paper talk. Rovers don't have anything near the money this guy is going to cost in fact I'm hearing more doom stories are building behind the walls of the hallowed turf. The Chairman's article in the weekender should be noted.

I heard wants to leave Limavady he will be out of contract in November so if Limavady don't release him in July he will join us on a bosman at the end of the year

paul browne is one of the best centre forwards in the irish league and he will go a long way to winning this league for us if we get him.His father davy used to play for finn harps and was a similar type of big bustling forward. He has a year left on his contract with limavady and he told them he wont be back and if they dont release him he will go back to gaelic for a year and see out his contract. He was recommended to sean connor by a friend of his who plays for sligo (mentioning no names )and this is the reason he wants to come

They could very well hold onto his registration for the year. What's the story with Stephen Mullan, didn't a similar thing happen him with Rovers?

Stephen Mullan left cos he didnt think he could rediscover his form following injury. he had a bad time coming back from injury and then only playing here and there so he needed a break from it all. That's what i heard n e way. not sure if he wants to go back playing eircom league football in the future

Rovers held onto his registration though so then he couldn't play junior soccer. He's been playing a bit of gaelic since, but i can't see him playing senior soccer again either.
