What i need? Help....... 2 things.
1.
Best 11 when fit for incomplete teams inc tactics formations and the ever elusive pics of away kits for players and keepers. Squad lists (30 to 40 players on all teams) are done just the best starting 11. Also at least 10 promising youth players for the Master League.

2.
Skilled Paint Shop Pro user to help get all the jerseys done. Complete tutorial and instructions available.

This will replace the French Lique 1 in game and will be available for download very soon.

I know Highbury looks class etc, but might it be possible to assign the teams smaller stadiums? I know you won't find exact replica's, but are there stadiums of lower leagues in uk/spain etc there? You might find one that suits/resembles each team?

Yes it can but comes with problems to get it you would need to open your PS2 disc insert these files into and reburn the disc therefore needing a modded PS2 to do play it.
Thanks to all who have PMed me with teams etc: keep em coming.

Stadiums could be made identical to the EL grounds for instance i have Richmond in my game but they replace in game stadiums there is a set amount so i couldnt add them all , may just do a few of the better ones. Its on the maybe list. Jerseys and team data is 1st priority.

A chip inserted into it that allows you to run copied discs as standard the PS2 wont play a Copied disc, the chip bypasses that. Its mainly used for illegal purposes but a lot of PES players get it just so they can have full patchs liek Wolfs which include all real jerseys for every team in the game.


For xbox its the same thing needs to be modded to play games from the HD.


What i will do is create the option file for you to use so you will have better looking kits and all the names will be correct.

/btw its better on pc plays faster and easy to patch.

I was playing with a few mates on the Playstation and I was crap. I was so used to the PC version and wasn't expecting much difference.

I haven't played the PC version yet, but bought one of those just for when I get it. I can't imagine playing PES on the keyboard or anything other than the PS2 pad really.

It's a good thing to have anyway, I've used it loads for other things.

Getting best 11s is important and hardest to track down only a fan would know.

Again sorry for the techie question (and its probably a bit stupid for someone that knows the stuff!!) but I've a mate who downloads all the updates from a website and just copies it on my memory card. At present I have all proper names, jerseys, etc for all the teams in it, so does that mean I somehow have that chip and will be able to get my mate to download all the info in the same way as before and pass it on to me!!

You need a max drive usb thingy to transfer save files from a ps2 memory card to a pc. It's quite simple to do, you get a disc with the max drive and you transfer the save file from the mc onto the max drive.Stick it into your pc usb port, save it to your hard drive, zip it up with winzip and post bit as an attachment. Easy! :p

Yes i get the data converted to an Option file for PS2 but you wont get any of those lovely jerseys.

But you will get all the team names and player names.

we've a project like this for the PS2 version on hold for the last couple of months... id suggest using Football Manager for stats, as thats where konami got all of the stats for the game.

FM2005 ver 5.03 patch is what we using the stats from with fan based best 11s.

You can have my option file when its ready, no point in both of us spending 80+ hours editing the players :)

nope you cant, but its not to bad. all you have to do is download the mod and add it to your files..

It will be 2 files.

One an Option file saved to
C:\Program Files\KONAMI\Pro Evolution Soccer 4\save\folder1

The other requires this to install


STEP 1. Copy the entire "kitserver" folder into your PES4 PC folder.
So that you directory structure looks like this:

dat/
kitserver/
PES4.exe
readme.htm
settings.dat
settings.exe

STEP 2. Go to "kitserver" folder, and run setup.exe.
If STEP 1 was done correctly, you should see your "PES4.exe"
in the dropdown list. If KitServer hasn't been already installed
for this executable, the "Install" button should become enabled.
Press "Install" button. The installation should happen pretty quickly -
in a matter of seconds. Once, it is complete, the popup window will
display "SUCCESS!" message, or report an error if one
occured.

Lol also Bf2 has kept be busy and Pro Evo 5 coming soon , this will transfer to that quite easily.

Still havent gotten all the jerseys , hope to have them done when window closes , about 5mb.

You get all updated players in every country bar france and all correct jerseys for every other team and correct playernames as a bonus :D
