Waterford - UCD fixture change

The eircom League premier division game between Waterford United and UCD at Waterford's Regional Sports Centre has been moved from Friday, 8th July to Saturday, 9th July.
The game will now kick off at 6pm.

Strange. Why is it being moved? Is there something on in Waterford on the Friday?

The tall ships race starts in waterford that weekend so that must be the reason.
