Manager looks for support

Town Manager Martin Lawlor has asked for a big turnout for next Saturday nights game against Monaghan. Over the last four seasons the club have built up a marvellous fan base and on occasions they have acted as an extra man. Three points on Saturday is a must and we hope that our supporters will act as the extra man on Saturday night.

Unlucky Gary

Last week in our notes we congratulated our underage keeper Gary Cassin who was called up for Brian Kerr’s under-17 squad for this weeks games against Cyprus, Slovenia and Yugoslavia to see if they are capable of getting to the finals in Denmark in May this year. Gary unfortunately broke a finger at training during the week and misses all the games. There is no doubt that Gary has a great future ahead of him both at club and International level.
