Toddled over with a mate and I was converted. Have been to a few Bohs matches and although its enjoyable the crowd can be really hit and miss. That wasn't the case last night however. The atmosphere for the most part was absolutely FANtastic.

Welcome to hell , judas , and an excellent Jackie Jameson (i think) banner were hung on the opposite side to the shed. If they weren't greedy buggers one woukd have felt sorry for Ryan and Crowe.

The "show" of hate at the start of the second half by a few chavs was deadly. As the Shels players were walking down towards the shed, out came 6/7 young chavs , took out "Judas" banners lit up some flares and away you go.
Gresat stuff.

One downside. The cheerleaders. Mother of Jebus. Having 20-25 yr old cheerleaders in belts is one thing. 14/16 yr olds is another altogether. Fair play to the young wans an' all but I thought it was a bit much.

Chavs?? What the hell are you on? Are you English are something?
Those lads couldn't be further from chavs if they tried.

Memorable night last night :D

Muchos gratias Kingdom for all that info. What was the attendance, anyone know.

Kingdom - while I'm at it and seeing you're Dublin based it's probably an unfair question and offthread - what's the story with Tralee Dynamoes? Are they Eircom League bound. Any info on that??
Cheers. Hamish

Discipline is just gone out the window

You can say that again. I know this is going to come across as sour grapes (and on that subject Pats didn't really deserve anything out of last night) but your boys (or some of them at any rate) acted like toe rags last night. First Ferguson hits Rowe off the ball, then Murphy the number 2 confronts Rowe at the tunnel at half time (some people claimed he head butted him, but I didn't see that myself) which led to some verbals between the rest of the players. The Aaron Callaghan has a go at Johnny Mac, again in the tunnel, on the way out for the 2nd half, as a result of which he was sent off by the 4th Official. Presumably he'll get a suspension for that. Nasty stuff.
