Sligo Rovers manager Sean Connor has urged his side to rediscover the kind of form that saw them make an excellent start to the league campaign.

Rovers travel to Century Homes Park tonight to face Dundalk. Connor’s side has won only one of their last seven matches that has seen them slip down to third position.

A win tonight for Rovers would see go joint top with Dublin City, although the Vikings have a superior goal difference.

“I’m disappointed not to have taken maximum points from the last two matches in particular. We played really well against Dublin City last week. The refereeing decision for their penalty was poor. But we had enough opportunities to have won the game,” said Connor.

Sligo have only lost one match all season but have drawn four of their eleven matches played during the campaign so far.
