according to keith o dwyer...ireland vrs israel is on sat at 7.30 so i think its been moved to that day cos atmosphere wouldnt be poor for a derby game at 5 o clock kick off....

We all know this, but I dont think the game is at 5, I think it's 7:30 as usual

The Eircom league should not be run on International Weekends if possible at all. or else midweek games should come into play on wednesdays but thats not possible becuase not all teams play on same days

The league should have only 2 football dates in a week

saturdays and sundays. with wednesdays being midweek games as required. but that wouldnt suit clubs with no homes as they need some other clubs facilities to survive.

I was thinking of going to u-21 game in longford but not now as rovers at home that night.

The Eircom League, FAI and clubs in this country need to wise up.

I was under the impression the Game was always to be played on the friday!! :confused:

No Eire, the game was originally planned for Saturday the 4th of June, just like all our home games.

on our fixture list on our season tickets its down as the 3rd..
Must me a typo... Lucky one since its right now anyway

In a rare example of forward planning, this fixture was set as Friday 3rd June at the beginning of the season. As Eire06 pointed out, it was printed as such on our season tickets, and they are out for over two months.
