Was at the game and while Derry could probably feel a little hard done by I think Pat's could claim they were worth their point overall and I wouldn't argue too much. Pats were out of the traps much quicker at the start and Derry didn't cause Barry Ryan much worry in the first half.

The second half was a different story. Derry pushed on and Pats completely collapsed. At that stage I though Derry would run riot and if it wasn't for some comedy defending at Derry's end it's hard to see how Pats woulda gotten back into it.

Great credit due to both sets of fans though. Made for an enjoyable match from a neutral point of view. I'd brought a friend from Derry along for the first time and she was well impressed by the whole thing. After a few minutes she really started to get into things too which I found hellacute. :)

All in all, good entertainment for £9. :ball:
