Surprised no-one has posted up about the latest on the AIL.
A set of 3 meetings for fans etc have been set up for the end of Jan/start of Feb in Belfast, Dublin and Dundalk. Strange to incoude Dundalk but not Cork in there to be honest. Good to see them looking beyond the east coast....:rolleyes:
The dates and details are below.
Not a wise move by them to schedule the Belfast meeting on the same night that there are IL games- with Glentoran hosting Glenavon and Linfield away at Larne (plus Ards at home). The Belfast meeting will be the most hostile for them so I'd like to think they scheduled it strategically to avoid some angry fans. But chances are they just didn't bother their holes to check if there were any games on.
Good to see Lucid continuing to push this idea, but they're going to have to start offering some proper detail on the funding streams etc soon if they want to keep the idea genuinely live.
