Any one know of any 5-a-side tournaments in the summer?

I think there's one run By Salthill Devon FC in June? Manulla FC, near Castlebar run one in May, I think? These tournaments seem to be under threat. A club near me Ahascragh Utd used to run a massive one for adults and kids but insurance problems meant that they had to open it to clubs only and pubs etc couldn't enter.
Dysart FC, near Athlone, like Ahascragh ran one too and have scrapped it for insurance reasons.
Both local tournaments had teams from all over Ireland and abroad and a lot of money came into the area, B and B, pubs etc etc etc.
Sad to see this all happen and sorry I could not be of more help.
Salthill probably best option.

The Castlebar one has just passed, it was on 3 weekends ago, and was very successful.

The Salthill one is usually in early june, but I haven't heard anything about it this year, dunno if its going ahead again or not.

AstroPark in Tallaght has one, my company may enrole a team which would mean the actual start of my competitive goalkeeping career :)

If you'd like to enrole a team ---> www.astropark.ie

some don't take it too serious though, have seen teamnames in the spring league such as Jacko's Victims, Premature Ejaculators, Sheepshaggers, Notthingham Bush, ... Guess you can expect that, it's purely recreational after all.

a foot.ie 5-a-side tournament where all fans per Eircom League club participate, that would be nice, wouldn't it ?

Would Dublin City get to 5 lads ? :D
