For some reason Cobh Ramblers hate us. We actually couldn't care less about them.
Cobh is a small town on the outskirts of Cork City - not much has happened there since the Titanic left so someone at your club is on the ball arranging matches in good spots like Limerick and Kilkenny. By the time the friendly comes around you should be playing the table toppers (and Kilkenny). :ball:

Would that be the same rumour that has been going around since big Sam took over at the Reebok? Allardyce said he would have no problem in helping Limerick out with a friendly early in to his tenure, and this rumour has been going around ever since. Bolton at Thomond would be nice, they've got a decent squad with more than a few stars. Would be a nice, fat payday

How did you guess? :) Grandparents on my mum's side.
Beags has just about had it now I'm afraid. He's signed for next season but I reckon he'll be used as a super-sub. He's still got all the tricks but not for 90 minutes.

Does he still do those overhead flips after scoring, although if he only a bit part player and shovin on a bit probably not. :D

Still does the flip on the rare occasion now when he scores. He's got his son doing them now!

Only that you've been promoted this season, and Wrexham relegated,I would certainly have considered making the effort in seeing him in action at The Racecourse,if it's still there! He's one of the few players that I don't mind paying to watch!

Quite a few of us coming over as far as I know. Is your ground in the city centre or outskirts?Kinda both really, if your coming form the county then it on the outskirts but its in city also, the motorway runs just off the ground so its easy to get there where ever you come from or in your case Shannon airport. Maybe you can avail of the free bus to the game from there (as supplied by Limerick Fc) £3.96 a flight is that with Ryanair. At that price can we expect the whole of S****horpe to arrive on Shannonside. You won't be dissappointed with what our city has to offer anyway celty. ;)

Flying into Dublin from Doncaster then make our own way to Limerick, who are these Cobh people have they got a football team LOL. Looks like the Kilkenny game might not happen, reckon they've bottled it!
Hope we can arrange a few drinks nearer the time.

Well Celty, if Kilkenny have bottled it, I am sure Cobh Ramblers would like to provide the opposition.
Then you can compare/contrast Cobh to Limerick ;)

Yes who is this Cobh of which people speak, I seem to remember a pile of mediocrity called Queenstown hacking their way around Rathbane several weeks ago who seem to come from a similar area of County Cork as this "Cobh" side ;) :D

You know them. They were top of the league for one night after the first game of teh season. And they got a handy draw in the FAI cup at home to some non-league Dublin side.

SLK At least there is definately one or more non abusive football fan up there more interested in his teams performance then slagging off the opposition...
as the saying goes the old dog for the hard road & the pup for the boreen ...let them jump in with both feet...
LFC in Exile & Lim till I die....If we are a pile of mediocrity & a bunch of hackers, Image what you are implying your own team must be, as we are ahead of ye all season ..and not just on goal difference either...but I didnt want to bring that up until now.....
