Aiden O'Brien released by Millwall. He has been there 10 years and hasn't done it for them really at Championship level. Not sure how good he can be and he is now 26. It will be interesting to see it he can get a Championship club. League One or SPL may be more likely now.

With a name like that he can't be a million miles away from Irish eligibility. His Transfermarkt page actually lists him as English and Irish.

Danny Rogers has signed a one year deal with Kilarmarnock.

It doesn't look like they have any established keeper on the books there. They had one on loan from Juventus last season and he was first choice. Another keeper played second fiddle but was only on a one year deal. Neither has re-signed thus far.

Potential for Rogers to be number one unless someone comes in before the league there starts this weekend.

Simon Power has signed a season long loan at King's Lynn. They have been promoted to the National League. His contract is up next summer at Norwich so one would imagine that is the end of his time there unless he absolutely rips it up at King's Lynn.

Very odd. Make the loan till Christmas and try and get him into league football in the new year somewhere but as you say it seems Norwich have washed their hands of him. Reminds me of Alan o brien played at Newcastle you think with that kinda pace you have a chance of a decent career

I'm not sure what is going on at Kilmarnock but they've just signed Colin Doyle on loan from Hearts.

They signed Danny Rogers on a year deal and signed a loanee from Sheffield United around the same time. They started the loanee for the first game. Subbed him off for Rogers at half time. No more goals went in. Then Rogers played the full game against Celtic the second day out and only concedes one.

And now Doyle is in. Sound planning going on there.

That makes a little more sense. Did they state that Doyle is just cover? The reason I ask is that Rogers was not deemed worthy of the number one jersey first day out when the Sheffield United keeper was fit.

Interesting how himself and Aymen Ben Mohammad’s paths have differed. Friends from a young age, both were good promising young lads at UCD, Longford and Bohs. Probably injuries the biggest factor in his relative stagnation.

Hopefully things go well for him from here onwards...
