How many people on this forum would watch Rovers home games from the shed if it was opened tomorrow?
Maybe the Mods can make this a poll?

if the shed was open we would have beaten limerick in my opinion, which was our biggest crowd, so new stand would have been wedged for next game, against monaghan, which we might have won with a bit of atmosphere
plus i think this is almost a pointless poll(no offence red army) cos there wud defo be a decent crowd in the shed whether its ppl off here or not
The Shed should be open and there's no disputing that fact. But why cant we all stand in the terrace beside it until it opens. Surely that would be better than just waiting for the shed to open ? Or even in the spot to the right of The Shed. ok so neither spot is the shed. But isnt doing something better than just sitting scattered in the Western Stand doing nothing. Who is that helping ?
I've never really been a 'Shed Head' myself, but if it opened I would go in and try to help the atmosphere. And I dont mind standing out somewhere else in the meantime to help get some kind of atmosphere going.
Co-incidentally the trust are meeting the club this week so I will feed back with answers we get.

Followed up a bit on The Shed today. Work has started on the Shed and the back wall is now fixed. There is work left to do. The supports in the roof need to be changed and a bit of fencing is needed in front of the shed. So it's getting closer to re-opening. A suggestion made on the time scale is 2 weeks or less with any luck.

I thought the athmosphere at the Kilkenny game was woeful. I could be wrong, but i'm begining to believe that the players are actually intimidated by the lack of athmosphere at the Showgrounds. (Never thought i'd hear myself say that ! ).
But all you can hear is the crowd groaning over a misplaced pass and then it gets worse with each bad pass that follows and pretty soon the players are reluctant to get on the ball.
But maybe i'm wrong and they actually enjoy the serenity and the lovely vioew that Ben Bulben provides.
So keep the shed closed and let's keep it nice and peaceful at the Showgrounds !

Brilliant news Gary, i guess that means that the shed wont be opened for the Dublin game but hopefully it will be opened for the Galway game. Also is there a bus going to the Dundalk game.

If anyone is interested in a bus then let me know asap. Dundalk are playing on a Thursday night in Drogheda so not sure what the take up would be like. Let others know too, there's alot going on in the trust so it's hard to get time to organise these things. ideally a couple more people on board would help us out big time.
cheers
