I think eL club to eL club is for Jason Byrne (Bray to Shels) - 40k plus a few different clauses in the contract.
Not to sure about eL club to forgin team, Murphys move to sunderland must be up there i reckon.

I have a feeling that Noel Hunt to Dunfirmline was a record. I can't remember how much it was though.
To foreign club probably £150.
Thought Jason Byrne cost Shels 70k

I think Dessie Byrne went to Wimbledon from Pats for a decent price as well.

He did but if memory serves, I never heard a figure
Did it go through a tribunal or something?

I remember an interview Kelly gave, He was going on that a club in serie B in Italy was after him, made my day

There was genuinely a lot of interest in Kelly before he signed with Carlisle, don't know about an Italian club though. He was the captain at Carlisle for a good while but then another manager came in (paul simpson?) and he dropped him completly. I really rate him and am hopeful that he will be back in the candystripes soon.

In a footnote he's currently with Portadown in the Irish League, the resting place for many overweight ex-EL players......
I'd probably still take him back on a free though!

He scored in the IFA Cup final on Saturday and against Cork City in the Setanta Cup

Think the fee for Dessie to Wimbledon was something in the region of 120K.

Bohs paid Pats 50 k and Jamie Harris for Molloy (best transfer ever :D)
Pats got 275k off Wimbledon for Byrne with another another 125k if he played X games they loaned him out 1 game short of X games to get out of paying the extra.

100 k for Noel Hunt. Less for Richie Byrne.
30 K for Stephen Grant to Stockport from Rovers.

tommy mccallion played well against us for the glens
Dessie Byrne went from Pats to Wimbledon for GB£100,000. There was a sell on clause and a thing about caps. There was nothing about appearances
When Curtis Fleming was sold to Middlebrough the initial figure was GB£50,000 but after appearances and ireland caps this eventually rose to GB£100,00
