The opposite is the case in the Cork AUL where the Premier is above Premier A

Considering the handicap CBL teams have, not owning their own pitches, no youth teams, little funding, short shelf life etc....what Doolans are doing this season commands respect. They are the best junior team in Cork bar none! Better than all MSL and AUL teams. I will also add that a cbl Oscar Trainer team should be favoured over both MSL and AUL Oscar Trainer teams.

Without naming names or quoting comments, I’ve seen some fairy disrespectful comments on here from others towards the business league, so hopefully ye lot will eat some crow, be humbled and give credit where it’s due.

I'm assuming your in the cork biz league corner apart from coachford winning another prem cup last season and both having great facility s need I say more both are big clubs in cork .

I am but I played msl senior and junior and aul in my day. I'm telling you now that Doolans are better than any Junior team in cork. Of course that may change next season but right now they are have better players hence why I find those ignorant comments a little frustrating. Those of us in the know, knew that Doolans v UCC was the tie of the round. Coachford a big club? What drugs are you on? Avondale are a big club, Coachford are a Junior team and a junior team that Doolans would man handle this season. Agreed on their facilities which makes their inferiority to Doolans look all the more impressive to the CBSL side. The AUL prem teams are good and so are the msl junior prem/div 1 teams. The rest are the same standard as the CBSL teams. The lower CBSL teams are much better than the lower AUL teams. My point is junior reps from the AUL should never criticise junior teams from any org as they are not even senior.

I have alway had respect for doolins fine side ..a big club is in general about 30 years of history and achievements..I don't bad talk doolins at all I'm stating g the fact avandale are the biggest we know that ..doolins are a fine side .

Fairview have won a Lawson that took them well over a decade to win. the current players at Fairview are no match for Pike rovers and Sunday will show that. Fairview will be under a bit of pressure

Though its stating the obvious that conditions were tough,the game was at best a damp squib.As you would expect plenty hard tackling ,some endeavour ,very scare on quality.Cant remember a shot let alone a shot on target first half,Bit better second half with the View on top ,scrappy goal to win it ,deservedly for Fairview.Pike were a pale shadow today,rudderless,unfit and ran out of ideas,the tide is turning.
