I wasn't in any way condoning the stabbing of those two English hooligans a few years back .
I'm open to correction but I thought the two people stabbed were merely 'fans' and not 'english hooligans'??

according to reports at the time, one of the guys stabbed had wiped a turkish flag on his arse. thats kind of asking for it IMO

No point in going off on a tangent on this, they were fans yes and another thing remember when Ireland played Turkey under Jack, they p1ss coming down from the Turks on the Irish fans was shameful, mostly Galatasary fans I'll have you know.

Because the vast majority of irish "fans" are complete idiots who don't know the first thing about how to support a team. They wander along to 5 or 6 games a season, chant a few times and then watch the rest of the season from their barstool.
The rest of what season? :)

City Fans are clearly the best, we bring 10,000 to every single away game :D
In fairness, In terms of fans groups I've seen in action
1. Celtic
2. Barca
3. Derry ;)
celtic park on non-old-firm days is dead
barcelona fans?1,000 sing in a crowd of 70,000.the rest sit quietly

Leeds fans are the best ;) ,when you look at everything that we've been through over the last couple of years and the gates that we still get now,we have to be the best and most loyal
the 37000 napoli fans who show up every week in the san paolo to support their team in serie C1B (the 3rd division southern group) might disagree

>>>>St. Pauli (and yes I do have a massive soft spot!) regularly get between 15,000-20,000 in the German third division.
>>>>(Liverpool fans should maybe note about the noise and colour, which is easy to do in a big European match but when the season is falling apart and all your hopes are ending in mid table nothingness in the third division is slightly harder to motivate people for.)
true bout st pauli and anti fascism etc. but up til 1981 they averaged crowds of 1,500.then the club became a sort of cult, and quickly got to the level of support it has now.theyve only been what they are since bout 25 years ago
true bout the big match=great atmosphere syndrome.but what dyou expect from english clubs?

Are we talking nicest fans or best fans? By saying Galatasary had brilliant support I wasn't in any way condoning the stabbing of those two English hooligans a few years back I was merely pointing out that the athmosphere they create at games in support of their team is brilliant.
i remember chelsea hammering galatasary 5-0 in the ali sami yen stadium back in 1999/2000. even at 5-0 down the galatasaray fans sang constantly, thousands of them singing to drum beats as if they were winning 5-0.there was no difference in the atmosphere from the gala fans regardless of the game being 0-0 or 5-0
good mention for afc wimbledon btw. milton keynes fc?sickening
