Lets make plenty of noise at this game for the sky cameras and show everyone that at least the supporters care about the club!

.. is the webmasters address, if anyone on this board has information/news they feel is of interest to Galway United or Eircom League supporters, they should send him an e-mail. He is a nice lad.
It will be interesting to see how GUFC are portrayed. The great European leaders of olden times (Hitler, Stalin, Franco) would have rounded up a crowd at gunpoint and forced them into the stadium, in order to portray the club as "massive". Sadly, these methods of increasing support are nowadays illegal, except in Kazakhstan.

I hope our huge following in Astana are not offended by this post!
We are after all the biggest club in Western Europe while Jenis Astana are our equivalent in the East!

The Galway United gospel has been spread far and wide all over Asia thanks to the missionary work of United fanatic Murdock Naughton, who has preached the gospel to converts in the jungles of Borneo, Vietnam, Laos, Burma, Thailand and Malayasia and the mountains of Nepal and Tibet. United's fan base stretches from Terryland to Tokoyo.

...and we looked alright it was mainly as expected revolved around nick but it gave the team a good mention and showed billy's goal and thankfully didn't refer to monaghan's goal or the disastrous result that came out of the game

anyone able to put it on the net for all to see? when will it be replayed again?
publicize the fact that it was on.I just happened to catch the end of it the goal etc. but would have loved to see the entire piece.

.. I thought that the piece was very poor. Camerawork was brutal, even sub TV3. Shots taken directly into the sun, very hard to see players.
Effectively it was all about Nick Leeson, not even a stadium shot or a crowd shot. Usual cliched Galway crap of a shot of the Spanish Arch, someone begging ("busking") in Quay St and a few lugs drinking outside Tigh Choili. Yawn. At most five minutes long, at most fifteen seconds of football action.

it was on "PA" id like to have been able to form my own opinion of the piece and not be informed by "some student quiz master type" that it was brutal!

.. are generally printed in the daily papers, and are also available on that new fangled internet thing.
If one checked under "Sky Sports" and subsequently "FIFA Football Mundial" appeared, one could deduce the likelihood that our great club might be featured.
Perhaps those working in the private sector dont have time to peruse all the papers every day.
"Pa" the WHB has eyes everywhere!
