Sligo Rovers 1 Shelbourne 3
I heard back from someone who was at it. Alan Cawley, Joseph Ndo and Stephan Brennan (ex-newcastle utd) featured for shelbourne. Cawley played brillantly and Ndo was doing trick after trick. I think Cawley scored one of the goals.
Paul McTiernan scored a goal that was well taken, and overall it was good experience for the U-18 players that were included.

Yeah,Pauls goal was very good, bet 2 defenders and finished well. Had just hit the post with a header seconds earlier. Alan Cawley scored the first for Shels, finished off a great move. Ndo was class to watch, what a player! John Bellew (probably Rovers man of the match last night) definitely deserves a chance in the first team if Alvarez got his chance.

Great to hear Pauls on the way back to match fitness and i would definetly agree that Bellew deserves a chance in the first team.

After watching the U18's last monday and the senior team the previous Friday then I'd start thinking of playing the u18's as our first team.
