Umbro sign eircom League deal

Sports wear manufacturer Umbro have announced that they will be the official ball sponsor to the eircom League for the next six years.

Umbro will now supply the ball to the 22-eircom clubs in deal that includes a six-figure sum for the eircom League. The new Centaurus pro ball is already being used in all Irish competitions and the official launch was held recently.

Thats a pretty kick-ass ball! I wanna buy it but no shops seem to have it in stock yet.. Does anybody have any idea how much money the 22 clubs get out of the "six figure sum"???

Who sponsored the footballs before this deal ??

Fair play for landing it .... it can only be good for the league, and for Umbro too of course.

I hope these balls are better than what Unbro supplied the schools small-sided games in 1997. They were utter and absolute $hite.

There is no Umbro facotry outlet in Ireland nor is there any Umbro product produced on the island.

Umbro have been ball suppliers for a numbe rof years and this deal is not new as it is linked to the overall Umbro/FAI deal.

Clubs get balls thats all
