Rockmount 1-0 Ringmahon, tonight. Rockmount didn't play well but ground a result and scored the winner with 5 minutes left. Ringmahon down to 10 players for the last 25 minutes and had the better chances to score over 90 minutes. They deserved a draw.

Ballinhassig have got the 3 points but dont know what sort of action has been taken against Garryduff, they should be suspended for the rest of the season. I know Pat Downey has left Knockavilla so he could well be after taken Garryduff over. James Cummins back with Ringmahon after a short spell as player manager with Garryduff.
I hear Darren O Riordan has left Marys for Rockmount. Bad form i think after they stood by him for the whole duration of his football ban which i think was 4 years and i think Marys battled hard to get that reduced to 3. Comes back to the point loyalty serves for nothing anymore.
I also hear James O Leary, Lawrence Fitzpatrick and Alan O Conner have signed for Marys. 3 good players especially O Conner.

Table shows Garryduff still have the points

I think Avondale will try there best to get it on. The pitch usally holds OK so hopefully its on. Would you think there will be many games affected by weather ? Anyone know does Lakewoods pitches deal well with rain ?

Was at the Avondale game or should i say Rockmounts game cause the Dale didnt even show up. They were outclassed in every position on the field. Never saw an Avondale team so outplayed in recent years. Buttsy opened the scoring with a header from a corner 1-0 half time. Welchy scored a cracking header off the bar 2-0 with about 20 mins left. Buttsy scored an identical 2nd goal to his first another header from a corner. Hartigan was missed big time. Ray Leahy was superb in defence. Buttsy excellant all game but man of the match was Darren O Riorden. He was everywhere. Felt sorry for Cotts in the end he was so bate from chasing him all day and eventually he was hooked off. League is over and not even in to February.

Hartigan was missed big time.I got the impression from this that Hargie wasn't there at all, heard after he was on the bench. Big mistake considering all the goals were headers from set pieces.

I also heard Shoddy Collins was in attendance eyeing some talent for City.

On the Big Red Bench last night Billy Cronin mentioned something about Avondale playing City this week.
Any got any details?

He's just back From Austrailia and is not match fit at the moment. Only lasted 45 mins against everton the previous week and he could not be risked in such a big game.

Avondale are playing Cork City Tuesday night down in Carrigalines All Weather...

Heard he was watching Mucky... Wouldn't have been impressed with the way he and he's fellow team mates played.

Officials from Garryduff,I don't want to name them as they will be reported to the MSL, were at the Everton V Ringmahon game last Sunday and illegally approached players from both clubs after the game as they were leaving the ground. To date no player from either of these two clubs signed for them. I think players these days have more sense !!

No dont think so. It was hard to recognise who the City players were! Shane Deasy was playing, Kalem Spillane at CB for City was very good and an italian they had on trial looked handy but dont think any MSL players were there. I was 15 min late and left early.

Buster Douglas appears to have a good source. In reference to Garryduff having a godfather in the MSL, how many other clubs can phone up and ask for a game to be postponed (Vs CIT last week) and the wish be granted in order to get a decent team together.and this followed by a fixture against bottom side bandon to get things up and runing....

Surely at only 20 Wesley deserves the chance to improve and play in a professional capacity..Mcnulty will be no.1 but shows ambition that Tong wants to try play at such a level.that surely should not be criticised.

Its against the rules of Msl to poach players who are signed with other clubs - preseason is fine but you cannot approach a player midseason. No doubt it goes on but under league rules a player must look for the transfer.

Careful!! Treading on very dangerous ground with accusations like those. It's very unclear where this "few bob" thing all started. I know there's been a theme running, but from my interpretation money was never mentioned anywhere. This is in danger of running onto very serious territory.

Avondale Nutter made a very clear response and I'll follow suit. No payments (ever!) to any Douglas Hall player. End of!!
