There'll hardly be any matches on this weekend. if this is the case, will teams involved in the intermediate cup lose their home advantage?I wouldn't think so, games should go ahead at he same location at a later date.

No you have 2 chances for home advantage but any other cup competition you would lose it. From what im hearing the Senior league are pushing really hard for Intermediate cup games to go ahead this week. Cant see many going ahead unless it is on an all-weather pitch.

Come on Ireland, Well said there Archie, either you are showing off your language skills or bluffing. "Viva" is a spanish word, "Irelanda" is the Italian word for Ireland. We'll let you away with the "le" bit!! That surely is French ! :)

hall very unlucky not to get a point out of the game. Mount deserved to be ahead at the break and got a second goal on the whistle. Hall played very well in second half in terrible conditions and got an early goal in the second half.

Hard to complain too much at half time, Rockmount made the most of their possession and better play. 2 was a bit harsh on the 'Hall, but Rockmount had a lot of possession and looked dangerous attacking. The early second half goal lifted the 'Hall, but they just couldn't get the equaliser. As avondalenutter said, conditions were diffiicult and as such, it was a pretty decent match.

Your right there razor. Billy Cronin wont be a happy camper i reckon:D Loyalty in Cork football is long gone, especially with Northside teams alot of players swap clubs like theres no tomorrow. Cant understand it really. Mark O Sullivan who plays with ....... well since the transfer window is open again he,s probably with St. Marys but he was Grattan last week, he,s been swappin between both countless times in the last 18 months.
Jamie Nolan is gone to Blarney aswell..........
Washout again this weekend for most teams...

ya i think players swap clubs to easy there should make it like the gaa,if that were the case teams like avondale and rockmount would probably be 2nd division clubs.alot of the smaller clubs would be good teams if they didn't lose there better players to the likes of dale and mount

was it not Youghal v Mayfield?

UCC beat Youghal 2-0 in the second round.

Was at the Bonagee v Lakewood game. Lakewood lads tried to play football, fair play to them. Young and inexperienced side, I got the feeling a few of the more senior players couldn't have been bothered travelling. Bonagee well drilled though.

Any info on Ballincollig v Fanad game? Where abouts in Ballincollig is the pitch? Will be in Cork over the weekend. Any other recommended games for a MSL neutral...

Blarney and Rockmount should be a cracker tonight and also Avondale and Aayfield tomorrow with Mayfield improving as the season is progressing

good game avondale deserved to be 2 up at halftime mayfield were the better team in the 2nd half and 2 great goals from barry triggs and conan byrnes, could have won it steph hurley put a header inches wide and dermy ryan had a header cleared off the line,we could also have lost it when dale hit the bar and down on the line all in all a draw was a fair result
