Mark O Sullivan and Liam Kearney among others have both signed for Passage juniors for the season, could they be the first MJL team in a few years to rattle the Munster junior cup? They'll be far too good for their division...
2-2 at weekend wont do much this year

Great result for Rockmount and the MSL. Hearing the young Casey lad from Coachford has been snapped up by Billy. Great prospect.
Good to see luke getting game time in Keane cup, wouldn't be surprised now if other senior teams started looking at that Coachford team.the likes of Adam and Mark Murphy,Evan o Sullivan and his brother kealen could ealisly make the step up senior football..

Are Corinthians finally going to get it right this year? 2 massive wins already,1 nil away to Rockmounth and 4--0 at home to Ringmahon today. Everton look to be heading the right direction as well in the first division with 2 huge wins in their first league

Lost a few players to their junior team and a couple packed it in after last season, must be another reason though. Usually the trip to Mitchelstown is dreaded but seems this season that may not be the case.

A horror start too season after the munster senior cup for rockmount i really thought they would kick on after that. Castleview going too give blarney a run for the title this season very good again tonight.

I don't see it being just Castleview and Blarney in division one,Everton seem to be getting things right with 7-nil and 5-nil wins in the first 2 games. Mayfield are a good side as well and no doubt will bounce straight back, I would imagine leeds being fairly strong also? very tough league this year.

Everton played 1 decent team against Blarney and where schooled off the pitch. like you surprised to see Rockmount like this but as you and everyone knows they will eventually get it right and get the results,Hassle again in Corinthians assistant manager hackett has had enough of doing all the donkey work and Gamble getting the praise good club they should get it sorted with eventually a proper club man in charge,
hackett new what he was signing up for , players signed for joe not hackett, players didnt respect gary so it was either get rid of the 3 players or loose gary , hassle there all summer over joe not being around , had he not said he was leaving but then done a u turn when covid struck

Hopefully they can work it out and go and have a crack off that league, with the likes of rockmounth ringmahon among others struggling u would have to fancy Corinthians to have a run at it..

Covid reeking havoc with fixtures

🤔 Is it though?
Across all grades, it seems to be hitting particularly hard on the teams that were already struggling for players.

Dont say much about the rest of the league if Leeds are as poor as you say! they are 3 points off top with game in hand!

Time for the msl to act and finally throw ucc out of their league..every year they start late and gain an unfair advantage playing against teams with injuries and suspensions when they do finally start and now they cant fulfill their fixtures

But have you seen every team, i have to disagree, a couple of teams are poor but I think the standard of 4 or 5 teams is very good

Are clubs active in any way, in terms of personal sessions, programmes, zoom sessions? From what I can see clubs have been happy to let their players train with LoI clubs and haven’t tried to keep hold of the players who’ve signed LOI (rightly so IMO).
You’d have to think a lot of the seasoned intermediate faces 33 and upwards would be considering retirement.

Dunno what the delay there was. Best of luck to Rockmount and Ringmahon tomorrow. Be great to have an all Cork final.

its confirmed for sligo on 23rd of april.
Considering the travel distance for both teams, Cockhill will bring over 1000+ at least, while Rockmount could have 2/300+trravelling?
Great ground for both players & fans with very good facilities! :embarrassed:
