Cobh Wanderers Afc 2-3 Ringmahon Rangers AFC


A very good game at Old Church Park saw Ringmahon deservedly leave with the points.
Three top quality strikes for their goals.


Cobh were always chasing the game, A 25 yard strike from Anthony O'Donnell put Ringmahon ahead. A goal from Ian Chubbs Stapleton leveled the game and that's how it was at halftime.


Ringmahon again took the lead with another beauty from Rob Coughlan, before Chubbs equalised again with a lovely goal on the spin.


Nathan Broderick won it for Rangers with another top quality strike.


Great entertainment from two quality sides for a good crowd watching.

Most of the County Clubs will get good crowds for home games if they are going well, Midleton, Cobh & Fermoy. The traditional teams like Avondale, Rockmount and the like usually depend on the club members for the regular fan base following.

Went to see Leeds v Riverstown to see for myself how Leeds were. Incredibly young side . Very inexperienced but maybe it was time for that change in the club . A change of the old guard may have been needed . Leeds just pinched the win in the end 3-2 . I think thats two wins out of two from Leeds seniors now?
