Could you ever just take a break Tweety and let football be football? Always have some sneaky comment to direct at them. They got promoted and that was their aim. Players, coaches and manager should be commended for that, not constantly berated as you tend to do.

If you read the above comment from the block, you would see he asked for what my end of season opinion was, that's what it was and their aim was to run away with the league, which they didn't, everyone entitled to there opinion, ye were the ones blowing your trumpet about the "galacti-cobhs" all last year and before season started on this forum, but ye vanished off the face off the earth when ye started dropping points and struggling internally, be true to yourself and call a spade a spade when things don't go according to plan as well.

If you were to consider where they came from 2 years ago to not having a senior team to getting promoted to premier senior and getting to cup finals in the space of 2 years I'd say that's a success and I'd say things went to plan as there goal was to get back into premier within 2 years . Eric did a great job assembling a good team and let's see what they do next year in a premier division that looks like will be a good one with addition of Ringmahon and Cobh wanderers

They'll have a great team if that's the case Kilreen , wouldn't be surprised if Avondale try keep hold of the lot of them because they'll be hard to replace

Eric mc Carthy is gone from cobh, repercussions of fall out.never nice seeing a manger leave or being shoved.
Players got what they wanted it looks.
Douglas all over him, have nobody else to turn to.

Your a fan of Michael Toepoke with your big post.best of luck to him,a lot of people said a big no to taking over that job(spoilt childs),awful lot of player power, plenty people in cobh could manage that team,a footballing town makes you wonder what or who is running that club.
