Ringmahon to take one spot comfortably. Think Midleton and Cobh will catch Everton. Almost impossible to call between those two but Wanderers have the slightly easier run in so going with them. Really hard to say though. Not a bad finish to the league!

Very tough to call all right. We are away to everton and blarney. Home to cobh and midleton. 2 wins and we are champions. Gonna be a very interesting run in

very harsh on Everton all the teams have dropped points i would be surprised if Ringmahon dont win it at this stage could have gone up in smoke after intermediate cup loss but they have kicked on and I reckon Everton will go with them surely Cobh have too much to do especially after the draw with Everton the Everton v Midleton game could decide all

Ringmahon should win it but if they don't get two wins soon enough I wouldn't like to be going into Midleton and cobh games to win a league,I'd fancy Midleton to nick 2nd it will be between them and Everton on last day id say,i work with a cobh player and they reckon they've no chance now after last week, looking at cups for silverware.

Hard to believe this is true that the league are calling a game of this time of the year, would not a mark of respect be enough.is it refixed ?

Some clubs use this too easy, I don't have a issue with a game being called off if it's close to team member or a committee member as a mark of respect ,but if you deny that clubs don't use this as excuse at times your deluded, I played with a team a last year, there was a death in club and league wouldn't call game off because funeral arrangements were not clashing ,mark of respect thrown out the window go to funeral and get over it was a clear message, now with two games to go in a tightly contested league there calling off a game of a season that's running on too long already, there is plenty ways to really pay respects to someone in a dignified and nice way.

Word is is that it's the father of a player so I would think for one that calling the game off is best thing to do whether it be a top of the table clash or not, respect costs you nothing

The important thing is not to lose perspective.
Football is only a game, an Everton player has lot a parent, that's a bit more important than a game of ball.

Big one tonight in Rockmount Park. Rockmount v Avondale.
Won't make it.
Can't understand why these games can't be played over the weekend.

As I said above, that was a scenario I was involved in ,an that they are not calling games off for deaths easily anymore ,it's not clashing so get on with it,and that was middle of season ,this is why I'm amazed it's happening now.

Should make a clear rule on how a death I a club is dealt with, not another vague opinion from Msl on how they deal with it, one rule for one club and another for others.

Agree on both points here but in regards the game presumably its down to shift work and home teams being better served by midweek games it's the way of the world now

Removal tomorrow night and funeral on Wednesday so as they clash with game then that's probably why it's been called off.

Hes not actually lads. If a junior player players any of the local senior cups he is then suspended for all local junior cups. He is allowed to play all other senior cups and not be suspended i.e fai senior, intermediate, and munster senior cup. This rule is now being changed in the forthcoming msl agm.

Enjoyable game of ball to be fair, great 1st goal some hit, Thought mahon just looked tired being honest, created nothing really other than early chance in game, hope they don't blow up now because they have two tough games ahead after a great season so far, on one thing who ever the person/ supporter that through a water bottle at midleton fullback should not be be left in the gate of the place, disgracefull to say the least, a bit over board if you ask me. Long time since I saw that at a local game of ball , But Good game from two good sides.

Rumors of them putting in a complaint against Avondale for 1 player wearing two odd socks this will warrant a 3 point deduction in their eyes

Avondale would have the league won if they could fill out a team sheet.
3 points already docked earlier in the year.

Whatever else happens, I hope the UCC Legal team won't be required this time.

Avondale having their schoolboy awards that night as well as the fact that the biggest game of the year is at the Cross the same night.

Biggest game of the season in the Cross is nothing to do with the Munster Senior League. Anyone involved with Avondale and UCC or the Munster Senior League should be going to see it!! Why should they move a game for a game in another league??? It shouldn't matter what's on in the Cross!! Think UCC are the best team I've seen in a poor league this year.

Reckon Avondale will have the know how to win it though. I for one will be out there even for what will be a cracker.

Might be a mistake going to Avondale Park as it might be cheaper to get into the Cross!!

I'm with Razor on this one. Yes they're different leagues but Cork is a small place and surely it's obvious that City and Dundalk will draw in a lot of Cork's football population. Dale and UCC deserve a crowd, sad to see.

Exactly the insular mindset that has football in this City in the dark ages.
Why shouldn't footballing organisations work together for the betterment of the game in this City?
There are a good few football fans who would have attended both games.
