rockmount could go level with maries if they win there next game, considering maries are having there best season to date and rockmount probly having an average season it just shows how much winning the premier takes

Mount could have been out of sight in first 20 minutes. A mix of bad finishing, no luck and last ditch defending left it at 1 nil at the break. Carrigaline came in to the game in the second half and pushed for the equaliser. And with the help of a diabolical decision by a linesman it arrived with 15 to go. Kristen Dennehy got the winner with 5 to go. Well taken. Good 3 points. Still scratching the auld skull with the linesmans decision to keep his flag down for the Carrig goal. One defender between goal and attacker when ball came to him off a team mate. But sure there you go.

well technically it is UCC's title to lose and your right that's a poor return
Surely marys can win their first title this year ,be some start for Declan

Declan was there too last year and dont get me wrong he is very good at what he does but its every part of the management that deserve the credit and the players... I just think that the whole club are heading in the right direction

Was up at Mount and view game tonight rockmount well worth their win always look like winning the game just to put pressure on St Marys . castleview have got some decent young lads coming threw but just can't score..kinger didn't look like the player he was 3 r 4 years ago looking lost out their as for the fella cooney might as well give him a ball to himself very selfish with the ball..but good decent game

go for gold

rockmount in with great shout of winning league now.they are only unbeaten team and have no intermediate cup distractions.ucc will also be in collingwood action soon.considering mount were 3 1 up on ucc and conceded 2 late goals and also were 1 up in injury time against cors and conceded and only drew with marys when 1 up and up against ten men.surprised to see that there not been mentioned in peoples posts on whos going to win the league.still see it coming down between dale and mount, both teams are packed with players who have done it all before.

"surprised to see that there not been mentioned in peoples posts on whos going to win the league" probably because they were 3-1 up & conceded 2 goals to UCC & conceded in injury time to Cors & because they couldn't finish Marys off with an extra man !!!! that said I think your right , they are in with a shout but any more draws like the above will be costly , could be interesting run in with 3 or 4 teams going for it.

Most exciting league in years. Any number from 5 teams could win it this season, just as exciting down the bottom.

That was last night, Marys lost 3-1 but gave a great account of themselves. Great to see a founding member given the honour of cutting the ribbon in front of a huge crowd

On other news half time in Ballea park and Carrigaline are 1- nil up. Not at the game but heard it should be more

I thought we deserved it. We were without a few regulars and had a few injuries, but that's why we all try and have big squads.
The winning goal was pure quality. A bit of a battle through out but what can you expect on a morning like it was. Considering that they called off last weeks game v st Mary's I was very surprised that the game went ahead, but I suppose they would have been well informed about our suspensions. All in all a very important 3 points for us.

Did Everton know about the suspensions? Now if the pitch was playable anyway it doesn't matter if they did or not. Do they have inside info that the rest of the teams don't have? If they do how is it possible?

Explains my query on how the game even went ahead, always something with this committee, supposedly pitch will be recked for weeks.

Lads I was being nice earlier midleton were a class above Everton this morning. They've bucked up their ideas in the last few weeks. Midletons strikers looked to hold the ball up and bring others in to play. Midleton a holding midfielders actually held while Lawrence decided he had to try and win the game on his own. MIdle two two centre halves went about their business with strength and had the quality bringing the ball forward. As for the keepers one was calm and and made the right decisions and the other was looking for a phantom push for a goal.

If he's that much of a clubman why would he leave when his team are struggling for points.i get on with Austin but I still surprised he walked
