UCC AFC are running their annual colours lunch on 14th of Feb - Martin O'Neill is the speaker this year.

Any truth that the MSL representatives are boycotting the event this year? (The blazers usually get in on a freebie)

And if they are boycotting the event, then I would regard this as very childish on their part and very disrespectful to the current Prem Champions.

Maybe they just got tickets for the rubby game and can't make it?

How ye fixed for Friday night? Big night for both north side teams.

As far as i know were in good shape, dont think we have any injury worries. Be nice to get the win and it would put a lot of pressure on Rockmount to get a result at home to Avondale the following Wednesday which is never easy...

I must say I found this game very enjoyable. Mary's deserved more than a draw, they put in a fantastic shift and made everyone else in the league sit up and pay attention to what has been happening up in killcully. On the other hand rockmount were very hard to watch. I think the management got they're tactics wrong, especially after the sending off. I thought Mary's full backs were they're for the taken. Billy did changed it to 3-5-2 but 30 mins to late. Rockmount got a point and prob deserved it for their battling qualities but lack serious football ability and now that Macca has moved to LOI I can't see them winning the league at this point.

I dunno were we watching the same game beano, firstly I thought the handball was very harsh given the player was only about 2 feet away when the defender struck it off him and even at that i think it was more his chest. Besides that there wasnt much... Avondale had most of possession without troubling the Mount keeper too much. But look being a Marys man its the result I was looking for :)

Saw Corinthians v Midleton Friday night and on that display I cannot see them winning any league,very average side with no pace up front,no way they will last the distance,Midleton played much better,but Corinthians given a very soft penalty at the end to win it.

It was a good game,I've nothing to do with Midleton just go watch there games when I can,thought it was soft didn't say it was a bad call,just think Corinthians don't have enough pace up top to win a league,and prob short a decent midfield player,solid enough at the back though,again only going by the game I watched.midleton are in a total rebuilding process and it isn't going too bad by what I've seen,,considering all the players that left at start of the season.in the same position as they have been in last 3 yrs and stayed up,but this year it's a Midleton team,not cobh.which is a big plus I presume.
