Spoke with somebody connected with Leeds last night and he's told me of what a mess of a club they've become and reckons they won't have a senior team next year
Things must be very bad up on Leeds... Heard they just beat Rockmount 2-1 in munster senior cup.

Avondale 5 casement 1. very 1 sided game Avondale really turned up the tempo in the second half and casement couldn't live with the pressure.

To be fair now bazzer we played the 90 mins with 10 men 9 at some stages. We went 1 up. We were always going to run out of steam after having a game on Thursday night. Avondale are a different animal all together in fairness.

Who knows who was there and who wasn't?
It's one persons word versus another's.
My advice would be to talk football and avoid any possible legal action.

My Everton source tells me that they had a player sent off in a league game a few weeks back.
They made him sit out the next match a Munster Senior Cup game and then he played the following game, a Donie Forde game against Castleview.
The Munster Senior Cup is not an MSL competition, it's an MFA one so, he should have sat out the Castleview game and not the MS Cup one.
View were handed the Donie Forde game and will play Avondale in the semi-final.

Wilton 1 Fermoy 3

Fermoy took all three points last sunday morning from the city. Beautiful morning for football with a pitch in good condition after all the rain over the week.
The first half was an even affair with one or two chances each, but both teams were poor in the final third. Kurt Wheeler had the best chance as he was slipped in from midfield but his left foot shot was straight at the keeper.
The second half was more entertaining for the onlookers. Fermoy started brightly with three goals in the first ten minutes of the half. A great ball from the right full was glanced to the far post by the McNulty and the keeper spilled the ball into the net. Not sure was Wilton's keeper in fact a regular keeper as it showed in the first goal. The away side doubled there lead soon after. Scotty was put threw and his shot came off the post and rebounded in off the defender unfortunately for the home side. Third goal was a great finish from Wheeler. Kurt spotted the keeper way off his line and lobbed the ball in over him. Both teams make some changes mid way threw the second half due to injuries and fatigue. Wilton where the better for the last twenty mins in a more open game. The home sides striker dropped back into centre midfield and he seemed to create a lot of chances for them. Mick Devine pulled off at least three fine saves for the away side as he was being called into action a lot more. Eventually Wilton got the goal they deserved with all the pressure they had Fermoy under. A poor clearance from Ryan Conway fell to the young right winger who came on. He breezed past the left back then side stepped the centre back and poked the ball home nicely.

I made the second half of that game. It certainly looks like it was only a matter of time before the flood gates opened for Wilton. Once Fermoy scored they just controlled the game and took full advantage with another 2 quick goals and seemed happy to sit back knowing that it was game over.

This now is happening far to often for my liking. Clubs should be notified every week about players who are suspended by the MSL. Its not as if they have a mountain of paper work to do every week other than post fixtures and results on website. A bit of common sense should prevail here. Don't get me wrong, they may do but every week it seems to be happening. I just feel sorry for the players and coaches who have points deducted and who get throwing out of cups for something that should be corrected before and not after.
