I dont think yere getting my point ,1 player form submited with the same name to be taken off leeds registration to get a new player on at xmas, player plays on the whole way through even gets suspended by msl and they still didnt cop the duplicate name cause it was a simple genuine mistake the player in question has been at the club for years, then when leeds are lookin safe their hit with 3 point deduction 10 days to the end of season sending teams to leeds park set up for the draw,if the law was einforced ucc should have automatically got points and corinthians but instead they take 3 off to sink leeds why didnt they check all games he played in illegally and award points accordingly to those teams why pin point one game
This is far from finished

You speak about pin pointing one game yet you seem to be cut deep by the 3 points Leeds lost to Everton. Listen if Leeds were as good as some people make out they wouldn't be in the position they find themselves now. Everton game aside they had 17 other games to do the business

again your missing the point this is purely down to the msl mafia if he was illegal for 3 games the the points should have been awarded accordingly considering only one man chased it up who was an everton man and leeds were found guilty of playing him 3 times illegally how is this just ucc have a case

My main question is was the genuine mistake made by Leeds or the MSL?
Did Leeds send on the players name and the MSL remove the wrong player?
Or did Leeds send on the wrong player?

Cos no club should be punished if the MSL made the mistake.

in saying that it was a genuine mistake with the club not trying to get an advantage common sense should have prevailed.

Certainly the csl and refs were anyway whatever about the main players in the msl saga.

Carrigaline 2-1 winners of the beamish cup, hall 1 up and the better side in the 1st half but Carrigaline came back into it in the second half and just about deserved it. Deccie got sent off late on for something he said to Chalkie. Nasty injury to Gary prout at the end also, lets hope it's not as bad as it looked.

I think you are missing the point 3rdeye, if UCC lodged the appeal before their game with Avondale fair enough, but waiting till Avondale have no games left and when they played UCC they were resting players for this weeks fai cup game seems extremely premaditated to me and underhanded. Surely if there was an appeal in process do you think Avondale would of been beaten 4-1?

But the MSL when deciding to award the points to Everton should have automatically awarded points to all the other teams that were effected.

This would be standard practice in any other league.

The MSl have a culture, whereby they will ignore the most blatant rule breaking unless they are faced with an actual official protest.

U.C.C. are dead right.

I was merely stating a fact, no skin off my nose either way.
Leeds can only beat what's put in front of them and they did, best of luck to them in the final.

It's crazy that we're now into June and things aren't finished yet.
Fellas need a break.

Would be a couple of nights depending on number of teams. Prob a few group games the first evening and then semis and finals the next night. Will depend on how many teams enter. Give a bell if interested and dates will be confirmed - as I'm not sure myself. Venue is in fermoy FC pitches which are immaculate at the minute, as always.

Hawk where are all the players coming from to go from 1 adult team to 3?

the hawk
17/06/2014, 5:05 PM
Well we will have the majority of last years squad.there will also be the majority of youths coming through.management will obviously bring in there own players and they are hoping that all the players who have left will return.
the plan will to enter 3 teams but it could end up being 1 but it will definetly be in the senior 2nd divison and the rest will a bonus.
a lot of hard work has been put in by the new committee after the last one nearly finished the club.
Over the last 3-4 years we have built new dressing rooms, got floodlights better than turners cross and in the last few months opened a brand new training astro.
i think friday night games too is a big draw.also with Gordan ryan, liam curtin and paul cronin who were part of the 2002 munster junior cup winning team, things look good for us
