Nothing has been decided on the Blarney v Mallow game as far as i am aware. It should be quite a straight forward decision i feel. Blarney player plays for 60 mins in that game, whose name was not noted on the ref's card. The player in question gets subbed, ref notices that there is no name noted on the card next to the players relevant number. As far as i know,Mallow (who could do with the points here) were told that it would be dealt with at the disiplinary meeting in January but that has been & gone at this stage.

As i said in my earlier post, if Blarney escape unpunished (& it probably was an honest mistake but rules are rules) then i think any team could 'forget' to put a players name on the card & escape punishment using Blarney as an example, especially where a player may be suspended for a game, if you read between the lines in what i'm trying to get across.

How is good enough in all fairness ,we had this last year with graham mccarthy .went to city didnt get a fair go people said .went to cobh and what i saw him was way out of his depth ..i think markie sull will be a bit part player .elding 20 goals with silgo rafter 16 with derry morrisey 14 with city .

Scored V Mervue & Finn harps in both pre season games so far and going off reports on games , he seems to be doing well but obviously the league will prove to be a harder test !!! defo agree with him been the best player in the msl and hopefully he gets a better run under JC then he did under TD and proves all the doubters wrong !!!!

Every player will need to adapted to a step up in leagues but all I am saying is give them a fair crack instead of local people putting them down. For the league of Ireland to improve it needs to start in msl and leagues of the same around the country. A lot of good young players around msl.

Marky has been the best player in the MSL last few years but I also have my doubts if he can do it in the LOI premier, I honestly hope he does well.
There's a huge step up from MSL to LOI premier and if Cork City really want to be challenging then the MSL isn't where u go shopping. The MSL players will suit City's budget as I don't imagine any of them getting big money. The LOI first Divison is a different story and there are plenty of MSL players who would make an impact there.

Our pitch was superb on Sun morn after a ridiculous amount of rainfall on it, maybe it's best to go back to the old days and decide on the morning of the game. Might not need three games a week for a month or two at the end of the season then. players are too pampered nowadays I say. Not one of them had hit a shot that has stuck in the mud three yards short of going over the line. Pampered I say.

I agree with you in theory but the one thing I wud say is that we are in different times now. Players need to know if they have to get off work now in advance. It's jobs first these days. But pampered yes!

Is it that surprising to anyone really that this happened? I'm wondering have they dealt with the blarney mallow issue yet. One rule for some and another for the so called big teams.

Then again better be careful someone might complain us for talking about certain teams.
