Midleton were well on top in the first half and had Ucc pinned back for most of the half. Ucc should have being down to 10 men after 30 mins after a horrendous two footed challenge. But the ref completely bottled it after much remonstration from cauldfield gave a yellow that decision was the turning point of the game. Ucc came out a different side and after the first goal there was only going to be one winner.

We will find out Tuesday night how close or far UCC are too Avondale.

They have already faced each other this season it finished 2-2,Avondale are the better side but not by much, in my opinion the game could go either way next week!

Cors were well worth it. Dale were sluggish and never got going.
Both sides finished with 10 in what wasn't a dirty game.
Lots of time rightly added on at the end but there was no clear cut chances.

The last time they offered someone a trial the player in question told them what they could do with it and signed for Waterford,a huge mistake by City in my opinion,thought they might have learned their lesson!

Poor first half. Then 4 goals in 15 mins at start of second half. You could see Mary's hadn't played for a while but probably had better chances to win it the end. Would've been harsh on Midleton though as they worked hard. I think they'll be ok, going to be very tight down there though. Fierce work going on in Mary's Pk, like a building site! Floodlights and new all weather. Fine standing area on far side now as well. Good to see.. Think city beat Avondale 3-1...

Big win for fermoy in Ringmahon park. Even enough in the first half with plenty of half chances. Few good long range efforts from the away side and Ringmahon threatening from there throw ins.
Fermoy took the lead early in second half with a pen....Alan Mcormack brought down in the area by there keeper. Ringmahon pushed on for the equaliser with mostly long balls, there left winger was also lively carrying the ball to the line but not many quality crosses. Ringmahon hit the crossbar in the last twenty and fermoy cleared one or two off the line, mick Devine dealt well with the throw ins in the second half. Fermoy had plenty of chances to wrap up the game late on but they couldn't find the composure.
