Even though we won yesterday i thought the ref was also poor in our game, the league really should start looking at what games their giving bad referees

Have to say that the ref ye had yesterday is one of the better refs in the league

Midleton need to kick on and quick otherwise they will be left behind. 1pt from 9 having played twice at home is hardly a good start.
Fancy Bandon to go down. Anyone's guess who the second team will be

I think hall will go down if the dont win very soon. Midleton have one point from 3 and hall have 2 points from 4 after playing 3 at home already..
Whats going on up there does anybody know?
Bandon hall midleton ..2 out of that 3 i think

Great result for marys yesterday after there defeat last week to bandon.

I think Everton could go down I know looking at the table they had a brilliant start but I wasn't to impressed when I saw them. Then it's anyone from Bandon Midleton hall Leeds,it will be very tight this year as there's nothing between some of the teams it'll all come down to the strength and depth of each squad.

Ya Hall are under pressure but I fancy them to improve. Leeds could get sucked in. Everton and St Mary's have got off to great starts and will be fine having struggled last season.
I was at the Mary's game yesterday. They were superb to be fair, you couldn't fault them for effort and deserved the win against an up and down Rockmount team. Some of mounts players are very average and would struggle to get into other teams. Some guys are just up there to say they played for Rockmount. Does that really mean much anymore?

Mary's look like a good side this season and bringing in Deci Daly to an already good management will only help things.Despite all the turmoil in rockmount there still in the right side of the table considering they only had 7 players when billy took over that's an achievement in its self.Corinthians without playing any matches are now looking like the only side who could stop Dales dominance,it's only 1/4 way through and we are talking like this, I was hoping UCC would get there stuff together but are just to inconsistent.

Couldn't agree more with you. But unfortunately that's not the way these young superstar players are these days. I think they'll be ok. He might just have to put his boots back on and show a few of his lads how to do the talking instead of stirring :) things with there buddies

I'm not stirring obviously a huge fan of Moorsey as a player as was i but i cant see why as a manager ,He has taken the hall from a team challenging for intermediate cups in 2008 and the league in 10/11 season to a team that hasn't challenged really for any trophy since then

They currently have 2 points from 12 and still have to play mount dale cors home or away and have ucc away

Most of that squad has been picked by Moorsey so if the standard of players isn't good enough then that lies of moorseys shoulders

I have seen managers get sacked for less

I reckon the hall might collect their first 3 points on Sunday. Tough one against Everton but I fancy em to nick it.
Bandon / midleton a massive game already. Fancy a draw..

Lads for fellas to be criticising a club like the hall on this forum to me is madness, they are good honest hard working club, they tried the loi route with biscuits and it didn't work. They've gone back to one of there own now, will they win the league, no. Will they stay, yes

If they had no spine to hold onto a very big lead (something like 8 or 9 points) and go on and win the league 3 years ago then I really wudnt fancy them to survive a relegation scrap, who knows what will happen but if they are defeated sunday they are in big trouble

I wouldn't be panicking yet either if I was the hall. Also hawk if you look at the players they lost from then at least 4 top top players gone , any team would struggle.

Spot on i suppose. Lost 4 big players in last 3 seasons. They had to promote a few juniors but doesnt seem to be working at the moment. Not saying there bad players but not clicking at the moment. I do think they'll be fine but i thought that to about blarney awhile back. It will be the closes relegation battle ever i think!!!

Losing 4 players is but look who rockmount have lost.kinger Darren o riordan buttzy willie beechner Ross and they are still challenging and Avondale lost chubbs dub fitzy hallie Spratty kev mul graham mc and they are still winning
Its the managers job to replace those players and the hall just havent done it

Yes your probably right but come on Douglas hall aren't up there with Avondale & rockmount. A few good years in inter med cups and 1 or 2 years challenging but have no were near the pulling power of those or 2. Got 3 points last weekend. First division hotting up now to. Few people also saying casement should have done bluebell. Loads to keep us chatting anyway :)

Just my opinion

Did anybody hear about a controversial substitution last night made in the blarney mallow game??? Game ended 1-1 but supposedly blarney might lose the point

I was at this game.Blarney played for about an hour with a player whose name was not on the card given to the referee. Blarney went to substitute the player in question & when the ref went over to the Blarney line to mark it off on the card, he also informed Blarney that the player coming off was not noted on the card. In other words, Blarney had a players name down next to the number , then had put a line through that players name & had not put anything else in next to that number. The ref informed them that this was incorrect & that he would be reporting it to MSL. From what I heard, there was some form of MSL representative present so they may have known something was up.

I have no doubt that it was an error & that Blarney were not trying anything underhand but it could & probably should end up with them losing the points & being given to Mallow.

For what it's worth, I felt Mallow should have won that game anyway had they taken one of their many, many chances & they also missed a pen. Blarney were 2nd best through out I felt.
