Saw the Ucc dale game today.It was the best game of football I've seen in along time. Two teams went at it straight from the first minute and didn't let up for the 90. Dale probably had the better chances to win but thought Ucc matched them for endeavour all in all draw a fair result.

Yes a good game on a heavy pitch , no fox,caulfield and lally for Avondale which limited there bench and chances of changing up things especially when warren looked dead on his feet in the 2nd half after putting in a big shift !! Big turning point for me was when jc brought in lordan who sat in the middle and broke down avondales dominance where they had enjoyed a good 60 mins with the 2 kearneys playing a lot of ball !! He pressed dales and set up the chance where the peno came from giving UCC there equaliser , even dough credit is due to podge where he made 2 great saves only for his team mates to be switched off and allow UCC to run in on top of him !!

Superb game at the farm today. Well done to both teamsonly saw the first half but a cracker of a game, decent crowd there too. Not 60 seconds between first two goals.
College scored with a header from a corner and Dale went right down and equalised after a peach of a ball put Kearney in.
Heard Hoggie put Dale ahead and that was equalised from the penalty spot.

Great second half by crofton,game of both halfs with casement being on top in the 1st,crofton to be fair played good quick football and deserved to come back into the game but casement played to the final whistle and hard work payed off with the winning goal,also on Shane longs goal all I say is what a strike⚽️

Ya croften played out of their skin in the second half to be fair great to see the hard work paying off out in casement park think they will win the league as i said only seen casement play twice this year and im impressed with them there a premier team no second division some great experienced players with them did that young fella Shane long play with Pearse Celtic last season ?

Crofton deserved a point I thought myself out if it but sure always play till the final whistle,ya he made the switch over with two his buddies at the start of the season,long season for casement still ahead so be interesting to see how the league shapes up yet.

Great game this morning 2 teams played great ball. Casement a good side but seem to go missing for too long during games. More time togather should see them iron this out but for the moment Baklincollig/youghal looks the best combination going up.

Ringmahon Park for me. Their recent game in the cup was fantastic to watch. Ringmahon need to bounce back so this is a massive game even at this stage of the season

i,d agree, i,m not having a dig at him just in case you think i am but to be honest he got no help from stacky on the left wing either which left him wide open all night !!! big call my management bringing him in , as he had been suspended for the previous 3 games leading up to the final !!!!

not sure if you have read all the posts on the game but no 1 was knocking kyle, in previous posts i stated the defense as a hole were shocking and he had a torrid time etc ,but not in anyway was i knocking the young lad !! players have bad days/nights , its all part and parcel of it !!! long season there yet !!!

I don't think iv ever witnessed as bad a referee as I did today down in ringmahon park ha, not sure how many players he booked in total but there was definitely 10 minimum plus one red, and nowhere near a dirty game, game couldn't get going at all with ur man being whistle happy, game finished 1-1, if the ref assessor was there that ref could find himself in schoolboys next week

One all today with castleview. I have to say I witnessed one of the worst performances by a referee. I'm sure he forgot that soccer is a contact sport. Both sets of players were standing around in disbelief with his decisions. The game was stopped more times then an American football game...The draw was a fair result.

We have have had him twice this year already hes an absoulute joke of a ref,brought up from the shipping league, Im told he is being fast tracked through the ranks also.

I watched this game also after hearing all the hype about the fai game,i must say the ref today was an absolute joke ,no excuses the msl had some one there and he was in disbelief,id say 14 yellow cards

Ah peter come on age is not a factor for a bad referee. If your good enough age should never come in to account. I totally disagree with that statement. I never seen this ref and wasn't at the game today but all those previous posters can't be wrong.

Peterpan: I've nothing against this ref or any ref but no matter how young he is then common sense must come in to it. He dished out yellow cards for nothing!! Surely a word in the ear would have been the correct action. If he started that way then instead of 10 yellows(roughly) he could have got away with 2/3! He was far to quick to go to his pocket. I just hope he learns from it and so do the MSL who had a committee member there. 2 strong sides out there today

I wasn't at the game so I don't know what went on. But I've seen both teams this season and neither side are angels. Always gonna be a hard game for the ref
