My view is the msl won't provide jc with many options but I do expect josh o Shea from UCC to get a look in !!!

How many times do city train a week, with this lad in college and city unable to offer proper money to other players i cant see anybody being interested, conor meade would be a great signing it nearly happened already but tommy dunne ****ed him around by only offering him a trial

How many times they train depends on whether they sign professional or amateur contracts. As far as I know though all City players will sign professional contracts this season.

Josh O'Shea will be given a chance to see if he can make the step up......and to see if he wants to make the step up.

City's partnership with UCC could be of benefit to him if he can swing a scholarship or something out of it.

As far as i know he already has a scholarship, maybe that could be a stumbling block. Surely finishing college at this stage is a priority

Didn't know that. Don't know the guy personally so can only speculate as to what decision he might make about the whole thing.

I know Caulfield rates him though so now made be his best chance of breaking into League of Ireland football.

Just my opinion

Caulfield is gonna stay with ucc for the collingwood. Wonder who'll take over cos they've a very good side there in fairness

Ginger Healy is staying there so would expect him to take charge for the rest of the season.

Also said in his press conference that there are only 2/3 players in the MSL that would be capable of making the step up!

Liam Kearney would be one I'd say, he nearly signed for City after Tommy Dunne left but couldn't because of some FIFA/UEFA rules.

Rockmount 2-1 Midleton
Poor 1st half by mount who went 1 down from a bullet from the midleton midfielder with 5 left to the short whistle !! Upped it big time in the second half and drew level true a great strike from there winger !!! Got the winner true a bad mistake by the home keeper who played a short clearance and got caught !! Good win for mount with no howey , Duggan , gaza or jc !!!

Mount just about deserved it but Midleton will be disappointed. Keeper handed mount the winner.
Wolfey under pressure I'd say big time and Friday is now a must win for them or it could be a long season ahead.

Who knows? We got a call this morning telling us it was off. I assume there was a valid excuse/reason, but we weren't given it.

Midleton threw the game away yet again. Disapointing Result For Sure. Bad Error Of Judgement By The Goal Keeper Cost Them Severly. Cup Final Tonight Hopefully All Is Forgotten And They Will Be Able To Move On And Secure A Cup Victory.

Not knocking Billy but not much magic being worked up there
Beat leeds who were just promoted .That should be standard for the likes of Rockmount

Scrapped past midelton during the week and as you can see are in big trouble
I said it earlier in my post poor team all round and tonight just proved it

Think next year will be a big year for Mount ,Hopefully Billy can stay on and have the full Summer to prepare his team and really make something of this league

Big game in the farm tomorrow Ucc vs Avondale
Must win for Ucc if they have any ambition of winning the league

7-3 to cors. Are ye serious lads???
If true, Midleton should be ashamed of themselves losing a final by that score line.
How any team can concede 7 goals in a final is beyond me.
Congrats to cors on the win also.

There defense were terrible espically the left back who had a torrid time and add to that the fact he got no help from stacky on the left made it worse !! The first 4 goals all came down that side and eventually he was replaced but the sub also got burnt down that side for the 5th !! Still when the ball was whipped in there was free men all over the place and they just headed or tapped it home , with no centre backs marking any1 or midfielders tracking back it just made for a goal fest !! Take noting away from Cors , some of there movement and passing was outstanding and they could have had another 3/4 goals as they blazed over when it was easier to score !!! Hard times for Midleton but along season ahead yet to sort things out !!!
