College Corinthinas 4-1 Fermoy

Mick Devine off injured after 5 mins after clash with our own CB, who then had to go in goals even though he was half concussed as he's our back up keeper. Competed well after that all things considered, but couldn't think of a worse place to be with that situation. Think we did well to keep it to 4 under the circumstances though it could have been a bit more. We did miss a pen on 90 mins as well.

College look very pacy - great to see Edwin Buckley back in senior football, super footballer. They also added a very good keeper in Mark Power, saved a certain goal at 3-1 that might have made a difference.

With reference to Rockmounts late start. They had a free weekend booked for last weekend for last few weeks due to one of the players getting married. Nothing sinister going on.

Have they alot of their Juniors up Senior this year?
Was told my a lad who played with them last year a paper work error is the cause of them having no Junior team.

lads take it easy,no one likes to see a club in trouble even if ye hate the club i sure you wouldn't like to see them fold. No chance of folding. 90 years in football next year. A club with a proud history wont go away that easy. Why the hatred, puzzling to say the least. But then again when I started playing football Tramore were not that popular at schoolboy level and Ramblers were not popular at senior level. The common denominater ?? They were successful.

Caught the blarney casement game.

Was looking forward to seeing casement after all the hype.

Hype is all it was.

If that teams going to **** the second division then it says very little for the rest of the league.

Weak in all areas of the pitch.

Outclassed by a very young blarney outfit.

I haven't seen casement play or anything but that 2nd division doesn't take a whole lot of winning

Deccie Cahill put a pen off the bar late on.
Crosshaven keeper was outstanding.

They looked good today young enough side,but they could only looked good at casements off day like,I say they hit the ground running for pre season cause they kept moving throughout the game to be fair.i think there was the odd new few face not positive.

Your dead right green grass we were shocking il put it down to an off day .you won't see a performance like that by us for the rest of the season.

Still very early days to be judging teams at this stage of the season. going to be a very interesting season ahead!! :)

Just your luck to turn up when we had a bad day from start to finish. We're playing temple Thursday night up in casement park be sure and pop in for a look!

There'll be no doubt about Casement winning MSL Div 2 this season. Not saying anything bad against Casement, cos they are a very handy outfit, but it's a shocking standard. Casement are a very good outfit. Better having an off day now!! Even the bottom half of MSL 1 is poor enough in fairness

We finished bottom of that 2nd division last season so were very happy with the improvements we've made so far. Rome wasn't built in a day.

Ya beans ye've nothing to worry about! Alot of people hoping to see ye fail but ill bet my house on ye winning Div 2 bud. Use this as a lesson and best of luck for the season ahead!!

I wasn't having a pop off the club.
I can only call it how I saw it.

I have only 1 game to base it on.

Better to get that performance out now rather than at leagues start.

I'm sure I'll see them again this season.
