Lets be honest lads.hes what,24? ,and hasn't influenced a msl game in 2 years.im sure Avondale wouldn't have been worried in the slightest bout him or if he was cup tied

Can't believe Corinthians and the player did not notice this, is it up to the player to notify the interim manager or should Corinthians be on top of this? Just imagine if Corinthians had won!!!!

It doesnt matter who itts up too its a blatant disregard of the rules but as usual msl will sweep it under the carpet and hope it goes away they are a farce

Surely this won't be the case now it's public knowledge sanctions must be inforced!

but what punishment can they give .they already lost the final .

Can the ban the player ,fine the club or worse dock the club points or throw them out of next years Keane cup

Surely both the player and Corinthians must have known that he was cup tied ,Did they try and pull a fast one and hope ppl wouldn't know

Why don't we just get a rope and hang the lad in patrick street!? some of the comments here are outrageous, just ask the league to confirm why he played, he was obviously cleared to play the game otherwise i cannot see why he wasn cup tied it is a final after all

If he was illegal, it will probaly just be a €100 fine and a slap on the wrist from the league. I really find it hard to believe that Corinthians wouldn't have checked this out. The comments about the player are way over the top.

do people think cors would be that stupid as to jepordize a cup win by playing an illegal player in a cup final? the rules state he should have been inelilgible so the munster senior league have to justify this one. love to know how it would be the players fault no need for the personal abuse aswell

I agree corkey. A couple of fine young fellas coming out of ringmahon in the past few years. If stoksey can bring a few with him and try get the few mahon young fellas who they lost back. A few went to city and if there not signed you would imagine they would go bk to ringmahon unless a premier team comes in for them. They will no doubht get promoted next year in my eyes if he can gwt them back.

Ringmahon always had good youths in fairness maybe with minty s experience with the cork youths and Kilreen he could have been the better choice if there lookin to develop the young lads jus my opinion

Still v tight at bottom think Mayfield have Cors &Everton left at home. Probably need at least 4 pts to have any chance. Games in hand don't tend to count for much at this stage of season. Who was sent off??

Hard fought game in Whitechurch. Plenty of controversy. As usual. Mount missed penalty at no score. Varian sent off on stroke of half time for second yellow. No arguments. Hall took lead with a very controversial penalty. Well taken by McGarry. Mount equalised with scrappy goal. Last touch coming off Gazzas chest/hand. No flag no whistle. Buttsy with second a minute later. Ross came off the bench and scored a smashing 3rd with a backpost header. Good 2nd half shift by both teams. Wilky made 2 great tackles to save 2 certain goals. Plenty of tackles and cards. I would say Varian wont be too happy with comments made by some of his team mates as he was leaving the pitch. Its a kick in the arse he should be getting.

Beamish Cup game Fermoy 0-4 st Mary's.

3 early goals put this one to bed. They only had 4 attacks scored three in that time. mick Devine injured after the first and had to go off, CB went in goals. Pen in last ten meant nothing as game was over. Some Bodies back next week so onwards and upwards.
