If anyone hears of any preseason friendlies involving munster senior league div 2 teams can you post on here... Some serious scouting needed before the annual flutter in Cashmans... Im pretty sorted for Premier.. I fancy Castleview or Bandon for the Div 1 but 2 seems wide open to me so need to do some homework

Any fixtures for the Keane cup yet? Safe to assume it'll start on the weekend of the 24th?

There is a delegate meeting Tuesday night so I presume the fixtures will be released then.

What I know the two Pearce are ex cobh ramblers .. And when there was a change of managers they decided to stay with Pearce.. Both are experience players so if they have signed for hall they have two good signings..

Rockmount seem to be busy with 5/6 new signings avondale still seem to be miles ahead. The gap might be brought in a bit from last year between both but I think Avondale will easly win league again

Hard to know how the teams from the AUL will get on. Havent heard much about who Wilton have brought in,having lost Cian Blake and Sharpshooter. Not many new faces in Leeside either and they have lost a few ( Delea, Shaw, Nodwell) and Kinsale have apparantly "released" their new manager and Mongo retired. Wouldnt go putting the mortgage on any of them to be honest.

My comment was deleted about that manager.saying prove it or say nothing. Ask any member of Ringmahon or Corinthians and they Will give you same answer about manager.wonder why kinsale got rid of him before season started. If a fella can't give opinion on this why bother.there has been far worse said about players and managers on this but you don't see them deleted

3 clubs in 3 seasons thats good going sharpshooter..if ur goal return was as big as ur ego u might be half as good as the player wilton hoped u would replace last season but judging by the fact u joined them when narrowly lost the league and won the aoh cup id say that was a failure

just proving a pint red&white and only for me having no car this season id still be with wilton delighted ive join bandon spend most of my time down their anyway,i no last year was a disaster for many reasons personal problems injuries e.t.c missed all of preseason last year with an ankle injury not making excuses but only playing catch up all the time then, been alot different so this pre-season hopefully it will be a good year.
best of luck to all clubs

Mallow always a difficult place to go so I would fancy them for Div 2 I'd say it will be one of the aul teams that go up with them. Leeside look strong and will be well organised and very hard to beat with Dave Hall at the helm with the few additions hes brought in Mark Quinn Dunmanway town and hes ex cork city, ian myloid (ex cork city) and brian mc nally ( nemo rangers keeper)will make a difference and seeing the trouble at Kinsale and not much happening at Wilton and the losses they have had I'd fancy Leeside to be in the reckoning. By the way I heard Keith shaw is still weighing up options and will probably stay.....

what teams came down from div 1, would they not be fancied? sharpshooter (name is should possibly be changed to just shooter perhaps;)) ur own worse enemy as you constantly come on here talking yourself up so its no wonder people take you up the wrong way. Just play your football and stop telling anyone who cares to listen your life story or how many goals you will score as nobody likes an ego to be fair. also if you were that 'sharp' or that great i am sure your talents would have been spotted by a bigger club than bandon (no disrespect to bandon). it certainly ensures teams will enjoy playing bandon this season which im sure your management team was not the case ballinhassig n ballincollig went down from the first division you wouldnt know what theyd have theres so much chopping n changing between them clubs out that way its unreal

Good game, well good run out for Carrigaline! Avondale look as sharp as ever, didn't look like they were missing any players bar Karl caulfield I think. A quality side with talent all round the pitch, Very tough game for us but good to see what level we need to get at to get out of the 1st division. Best of luck to Avondale against sheriff at the weekend, shouldn't be a problem in my opinion, as I think avondale are by far the best amateur team in the country!

And the fact that you couldn't get a game up front because you weren't good enough so you tried to play on the wing and again weren't good enough.best of luck next season with your fitness in whatever position you manage to get a game.heard they need a keeper so could be an opportunity there for you

what in the love of god has he done to warrant that ? very harsh to criticise someone to that level on a bloody internet forum. Especially when you know his identity and your hiding behind an alias.

I met a few of the blarney lads last weekend and they were very optimistic about the new season, Allan Weldon back as well to full fitness. Some result there though, right hammering.
