You'd go for the 787 quicker so? Or the 7E7 if you're a bit of a tree hugger. Nah, i like it. The fact that its stupidly massive i like.

I actually found myself muttering "Go Europe" at the telly earlier, much to my own embarassment. And I was on my own.

It will cause all kinds of logisitical problems at knock , they will have to park sideways and run planks fromm the upstairs bar to board the upper decks.
*penny drops*
Oh right, the plane. Not this A380 (http://www.pberry.plus.com/ukroads/roadsby10/a38x.html) then

I'd hate to be at that gate with 549 other people trying to get on the plane.

They'll load through multiple gates.

Judging by the size of it the gate, check-in, security - in fact, the whole airport - will probably be inside the plane anyway.

Europe we have the biggest plane in the World. The strongest currency in the World... and to paraphrase The Strawbs.....
You won't get me I'm in the European Union/ You won't get me I'm in the European Union/ You won't get me I'm in the European Union/ Till the day I die.. :D

Channel 4 News had a clip of a Boeing UK guy saying that there was no way Airbus could recoup the investment, and then a clip of the Airbus chief at a press conference saying, in heavily accented english, but loudly and clearly:
"Zat is... complete bullsh1t."
I nearly wet myself laughing.

Iv'e been thinking- " How the hell can you play billiards in a plane???". But they defo said it. Idiots :p

:D :D i love it! :D
Apparently the larger international airports will be adding multi-layer boarding ramps so people can enter at top layer too. I think can still be used at conventional ramps but will take long timne to board everyone.
Airbus definitely have the edge on Boeing but both companies are getting massive investments from EU & US governments. I think Airbus have common flightdeck whereas Boeing have to re-design for each new plane.
Go Europe indeed,

Jebus .... the A-3-80 you say .... a great yolk altogether ... until it starts falling out of the sky, then it'll just be a glorified biscuit tin hurtling through the sky with 500 suckers on board, all with their numbers most definitely up and calling out loudly to them !! .... then it'll be the O-Please-SaveMe !! .... The A-3-80 indeed !!
