Grattan B games have all been cancelled on the AUL site.

Wonks Corcoran gone from The Glen to Abtran in the shipping league. Great signing for them, big loss to The Glen!

Thats a bit of a drop for a good player like Wonks . With Paulie gone makes sense that he went though?

I think it would help out clubs big time and the league ...top 4 in prem and premA straight into last 8 the carrot of 2 games from the cross would make both div's competitive right to the end of season ...fai and mjc restricted to prem .. premA and div 1 and I also would give something back to clubs to help with cost 500 euro prem winners 400 to premA and so on also cash for cup wins ..aul are taking in huge money and give very little back ..won't happen as less game less cards and less money for them time to make it about the clubs after all all they are just minding and managing the organisation.

You missed my point . Why should a team that are 4th in Prem A go into the last 8 of the mossie ahead of a team that is 5th in the Premier? Its surely more of an achievement to be 5th in the Premier than it is to be 4th in Prem A?

To be fair the mossie is a good pre league competition for premier and premier A.. but playing final at end of season last year was a joke

You still missed my point . Run it as a knockout competition same as every other cup if you want to reduce games . You cannot say to a team 5th in the Premier "Sorry you didnt qualify for the Mossie because you came 5th but a team that was 9 places below you in league position between Prem and Prem A did based on their 4th place in Prem A

Draw would have been fair result.A very under strength glen without Garry nolan and john Corcoran.plus few more, gave very good account of themselves . Thomas butler made some terrific saves and glen keeper saved a penalty. Both theese teams will be there or thereabouts for promotion.

Cracking game to be fair. Early Village goal settled it but they be mighty relieved to get all 3pts. Butler in great form in goal. Not too many missing for Village at all, Glen will be challenging for this league, lots of big names missing so a fine squad being put together.

is John Corcoran injured or suspended? i have not seen his name mentioned once on the scoresheet for glen celtic so far ? i did hear something about a suspension but thought it was ridiculous so couldnt possibly be true??

On Castleview did they ask to go up out of Division 3 to Division 2 as they didn’t finish in the promotion places last season.
If so fair play to them as it seems they would have been well in contention if they stayed Division 3.
By the looks of it they will be well in contention in division 2. Seem to have assembled a good squad. Although they were lucky against cloghduv at home to get the 3 points.

Seem to have signed a few new young players and panel now seems very strong.In my years playing against glen I never got an easy game from them. Anyone one here recommend the game to view this weekend..

But my point was about the ability to cope without when they clearly played village off the pitch and couldn't score...but there a fine side as all glen players give 100 pcnt they won't lose many games it's a class side .

Jake and steve really dont know what yere issues are..why would I want to see more of glen than any other team. I have huge interest in local football. Played aul and munster junior league . I've seen knocka play 3 times already and intend to see more of them too..glen seem to be a big topic on this which makes me think that maybe both of yee seem to be a lot closer to them than I am..
What i will say though is that a previous thread on this site was shut down and similar comments there and here are very familiar..
